14(Open Post)Halloween, Demon Lords and Harvest Festivals, Oh My!
Autumn has come to City *****, and the leaves of the trees are now turning gold and scarlet...
And now, an Harvest Festival is taking place, and the World Tree Mart and City ***** Merchant District are both having a Grand Autumn Sale!
But wait - Something else is going on, too. At least 3 Reality Waves are slooshing around City *****, a some new Areas are beginning to form around some of the nearby Twigs of the World Tree...
Please wait a moment, Gentlebeings, we are trying to stabilize some of the demon power lines, and in the meanwhile, there could be some flunctations -
And now, several things that are even stranger then usual seem to be happening!
1. A handsome half transparent man is sitting beneath a large holo banner. He is blond and blue eyed, and also looks like he is bored out of his skull.
Needed - One Temporary Demon King or Demon Queen. We are also looking for Temporary Demon Knights to serve them. Please ask us for details.
The holo banner and half transparent man are only visible to people who are potential Demon Kings/Queens or Demon Knights.
2. A blue tent seems to have sprung up right in the middle of a residential area. There is a robot outside, holding up a small sign -
Please come and join our Halloween Haunted House Project!
Some people may feel a strong urge to participate, either as staff or customers. The attractions also may become more real then what anybody expects, ho ho ho...
[Whether characters are affected or not are all up to their Muns. The people who become temporarily Demon Kings, Demon Queens, or Demon Knights will all go back to normal once the Halloween season is over. It is the same with the Haunted House related things. The Muns also may change their characters back to normal before that if they want.]
[This is an open post, and the Muns can make up events and thread with each other as long as it fits the theme.]

[This was very strange, even for him, he did have to admit.]

"Temporary Demon Queen?" Tomoya's eye twitched, "isn't kingship supposed to be by order of birth, substitute, or whoever's taking the power?"
"That is correct according to Salic Law," Kotomi nodded, "but there are circumstances in Infinity, or even in our own world, where another head of state is required to divide and manage duties as appropriate in order to avoid a concentration of power on just one figure. This applies either for military or political means."
Nagisa looked at the figure standing guard for the holobanner, "it is still a lot of responsibility to take. I think someone like John-san, Lina-sama, or Ami-chan could take the--"
Kyou slammed her application onto the man's desk, "I will!"
"Kyou-chan!" Ryou blushed.

[And then, he blinked.]
(- Though on the other hand, with all those alternate world versions running about, who knows if you're really the reincarnation of the woman I used to know.)
[And then, he snickered, and waved his hand.]

[He waved his hand, and then, a pool of light formed beneath Kyou and her friends!]

The word rang familiar to Tomoya Okazaki. For an instant, he had that curious recurring dream of a machine in a lonely world with a beautiful girl. A feeling that everything in life was linked, and that nobody was ever truly alone.
Tomoya turned to ask Kotomi, "is reincarnation--"

Kotomi Ichinose trembled awkwardly as she, like all of her friends under the effect, suddenly sported little horns and a small demon tail each. She should have been more bothered by this given her faith, but Infinity taught Kotomi that logic laughed at people's faces.
"Mister," Kotomi spoke in the most polite tone she could muster, "I believe you have made a terrible mistake."
A pair of party balls popped open to rain confetti on the stunned new knights of Queen Kyou Fujibayashi.

Demon Queen Kyou Fujibayashi immediately mastered her (mad) noblewoman laughter to celebrate her own ascendance to Queen of Demons. If the leotard she now wore, the big horns on her head and tail she now sported, or the overall larger figure Kyou Fujibayashi now sported didn't drive her mad with power, it was the party balls.
She waved her scepter up, "SELECTED BY PEOPLE'S CHOICE, I SHALL BE KNOWN FROM NOW ON AS DEMON QUEEN KYOU FUJIBAYASHI, AND AS MY FIRST ROYAL DECREE, I SHALL BE KNOWN AS BEAUTIFUL DEMON QUEEN FUJIBAYASHI!"
The Beautiful Demon Queen Kyou Fujibayashi immediately pointed at the handsome man in the stand, "you! Call me beautiful and get four people as handsome as you to bring me on a carriage!"

...No, I don't think so, actually. I've made mistakes before, and I'll make them again, I assume, but sometimes, I do get some things right.
[And then, he turned toward Kyo as she started to make her speech.]
- The People's Choice, huh?
[And then, he sighed beneath his breath, and whispered - ]
...And by the time we really needed a Demon Lord, or a Demon Lady, neither you or your friends had been sighted for centuries. Really, Sensei...
[And then, he raised his voice.]
There will be no need for a carriage, actually.
- All hail the Beautiful Queen Kyo Fujibayashi, who is still beautiful even without her beautiful fox ears and pelt and tail!

[A lot of people were staring at them, their mouths dropping open. Some of them were dressed like servants, and others like old fashioned soldiers.]
[James tilted his head as he noticed 3 things - ]
1. Thouse people apparently tended to be very good looking in general. They also had all kinds of colorful hair and eye colors, including green, purple and pink.
2. None of them seemed to have demon horns or demon tails, as far as he could see...
3. Those people's auras weren't quite human, though they were pretty close to it.
[One of the servants, in the meanwhile, was staring at Kyo and her friends, and suddenly cracked a smile.]
...Ohhhh! Look at those beautiful horns and tails - It's like something out of the old legends!
[And one of the soldiers, in the meanwhile, was staring at them too...]
- That...That power! And that aura...Somebody call the Regent, quickly!

"So many pretty people..."
"Do you think it's true?" Tomoya asked, "about us having been part of this long ago?"
"Infinite dimensions means infinite possibilities, does it not?" Tomoyo Sakagami stepped forward to look down at the cheering masses around them. As she looked at those people, she closed her eyes, thinking that she could be different as well, "besides, we do not know how normal we really are, especially in here."
Kotomi turned to the man that accepted them, "if that is the case, we should do what we can to help, whatever might have been the reason for us to enlist."
"We REALLY need to help quick! Because my sister is--"
"Alright, my loyal subjects! Your beautiful Demon Queen approves of your attention to her rightful beauty!"
For her part, Kyou put her hands on the back of her head and stretched to proudly show her curves! Even her demonic tail.
"She demands to be brought to the Regent for possible terms of extended rule!"
"OI! KYOU-CHAN!" Tomoya screamed off from behind. Power had risen into Kyou's head far too quickly for anyone's humility.

...That's not really for the Regent to decide, though, right?
- I didn't think so either, but on the other hand - It is his job to deal with the new Kings and Queens, sure enough!
[And indeed, soon enough, a middle aged dapper looking man came running up to the dais, huffing and puffing.]
...First we get tossed over to a world I never even heard of before, and now, a new Demon Queen!?
- I have had enough of this - this nonsense!
[A chuckle wafted through the air, then.]
(- Just do your job, Lord Regent of the Demon Territories.)
[It was the voice of the half transparent man.]
(And as for extensions - The answer is no. Demon Queen Kyo shall rule from the Autumn Year's Turning to the Winter Year's Turning, no less and no more.]
[James blinked, and did some calculations in his head.]
