19 [Open Post] Autumn Holidays, Autumn Festivals and Halloween, Both Dark And Light!

he Halloween Season is coming to City *****, and the Merchant Districts and World Tree Mart are all having their Annual Halloween and Autumn Holiday Sales.

And City ****'s City Hall is also having a large party for Halloween and other related and similar holidays and festivals, such as Nightmare Night!

However, several strange things are happening, as things often do in the World Tree System and City *****...

(1)Some people will find themselves being forced to take part in various Halloween (and related and similar holiday) activities, whether they were originally planning to do so or not!

(2)Some people will also find themselves temporarily gaining witch-powers, or temporarily getting different witch-powers if they had witch-powers to begin with.

(3)And last but not least, some people will end up having their "Dark Sides" temporarily turned on, with nary an "off switch" in sight.

[Whether the characters are affected or not by the Reality Waves are all up to their Muns. All the Reality Wave's effects will end in 3 days, or whenever the Muns want them to end.]

[This is an open post, and the Muns can make up events and thread with each other as long as it fits the themes.]

( madoka and her friends are going out shopping for halloween stuff, including materials for their halloween costumes. Sure they can instantly magic up costumes now, but there is something special about putting it together themselves for halloween! They still chatter themselves about what they need, including what their costumes should even be! So many ideas!)
“ whatever you decide to be, im sure it will be be adorable!” ( homura said, holding her girlfriends head as they look over fabric and crafting selections)

“ yeah well its not like most people here know about those kinds of witches, “ ( sayaka replies,) “ “‘and there still is the classic type of witch everyone associates , you know.” ( despite the improvement with the tragedic truth of grief witches in their world, and now they were at peace with their own witch selves, a brief uncomfortapble gloom passed over the girls at kyoukos mention.)
( mami decided ti change the subject) “ well then, shall we go with spooky? Cute? Classy? How about a group theme?”

"there we have it, then!" [they start picking out accesories and fabrics.]
"I was thinking of hosting a halloween party as well, before or after trick or treating" [Mami suggested] "With all our wonderful friends!"

The outfit Kotomi wore was an obscure one, but one she went fully into detail, to the point of even getting a rapier she had actually trained for, courtesy of Elizaveta, as Kotomi had learned her share of martial arts thanks to the friends she had made in Infinity/World Tree. Black armcovers and skirt covered her body, with a golden belt on her waist, as well as leggings and stiletto boots made from materials and colors with the same vibrance as the painting had.

The only problem with her outfit was her large bust pushing out far too much from her white shirt, but apart from the occasional bounce, she enjoyed herself as she watched many figures dressed in outfits fitting for the time of the year, giving the children get candy whenever they requested her (and regretting she never got to do it as a child), and wandering around, looking for friends...

... All, while feeling a familiar presence that now felt ominous. Like strings playing a false cadence.

She realized she hadn't seen John.

[And in the meanwhile, Chiba Usagi (formerly Tsukino Usagi), has suddenly found herself dressed in her very first Sailor Moon uniform, oddly enough.]

[...Yep, it's her old uniform, and it even feels like the magic is worn away in parts, even though it's bright and shiny. Maybe it was from right before the Final Battle with Metallia?]

[Hmmmm.]

[And that was when she noticed a familiar face.]

...Oh, hi, Kotomi-chan!

[And then, she looked at Kotomi's costume, and snickered.]

Did Worldtree decide what you wore today, too? This is my old magical girl uniform, ha ha ha...

Kotomi smiled, and shook her head, "hnhnn. I dressed as Mademoiselle Julie d'Aubigny. She was great opera singer and a duelist that won three consecutive fights with a rapier."

She glanced down with pride at the rapier she brought for the occasion, and spread her black skirt in a proud bow, "in some worlds, Madmoiselle d'Aubigny turned out to have researched magic, which at the time was forbidden by the Catholic Church, whenever if it was holy magic or knowledge-based."

Kotomi then scanned Usagi up and down and... turned confused when she realized Usagi was much shorter and less built, and the Sailor Senshi uniform she had was... basic. Barebones. Almost as if it was the beginning of things. The strings of reality around Usagi were fewer and weaker, but still nowhere near the levels of a normal human.

"You look much younger, Usagi-chan..." She stepped forward, towering over Usagi as an grown adult, much fuller-bodied as she bent forward, "your senshi uniform... the reality wave affected you." Kotomi frowns in sadness for Usagi. She didn't know what she'd do without her intelligence, or her newly gained magic.

...Wait, so I really look younger? When did that happen?

[Usagi said with a blink - And that was when a final sparkle of light surrounded her, along with a low chuckle!]

[And when the magical sparkles faded away...]

[A 14 years old Usagi was blinking back tears, and wiping her eyes.]

[...Her Tuxedo Mask-sama was dead, and so were her friends.]

[She held up the Legendary Silver Crystal, and slowly patted it with her fingers. It never seemed to break, or get dirty, which weas a good thing, she supposed.]

[And now, the only thing left was to deal with Metallia, and save the planet Earth.]

In a sudden moment, Kotomi felt her chest out of air when the strings of reality seemed to connect Usagi someplace else. Someplace familiar, but... The strings that connected her to Makoto, Rei, Minako, and... and Ami...

They were still attached to her. But they had been cut into silence.

That was the last time I saw her. Dead or alive. - Something happened a couple of months after that, you see. There were storms everywhere, and earthquakes too, and it seemed like the world was ending - And then, everything just stopped, and went back to normal. Almost like - Nothing had ever happened at all.

But Ami and her friends disappeared, and never came back.

This Usagi was a survivor of that event. She returned to a world where Ami had died.

Kotomi clutched her hand close to her chest, eyes widening for a moment in a time where she was unable to save her closest friend, feeling herself hyperventilate for a moment... and just then, she also saw Usagi's tearing eyes, trying to hold the energy of that gem she held...

An object that held the strings of an entire world.

She walked towards the young Usagi, and embraced her, hugging her like a mother. After everything she had gone through, and the age she now had as a grown adult... She would protect Usagi from harm. Even if this was just a state Usagi was going through a reality wave, she needed to be protected.

"Come with me. We'll find someplace to help you."

Dark AU Magical Girls

[And somewhere in City *****...]

[Yet another pack of Magical Girls arrived with a whoosh!]

[These girls are from an AU Madoka world, where things just went slightly different...]

[To begin with, that is.]

[And no, they haven't realized they've come to a entirely different world yet, either, as they're too busy fighting Witches for the moment.]

[AU Sayaka hit the ground with a crashing sound, while AU Madoka groaned.]

...Sayaka you idiot -

[AU Sayaka had lost an arm, which was now being chomped on by the Witch they were fighting.]

- I told you and I told you - Stop losing bits and pieces of yourself, all right!?

[AU Nagisa tutted at AU Sayaka as she smacked a Familiar away.]

...Sayaka-Nee, please. Even with Magical Girls like us, regrowing arms and legs takes energy!

[AU Kyoko nodded at that.]

- And the more magic we use, the faster our Soul Gems get contaminated. Really, Sayaka, you should know that by now...

[Aand that was when one of the Witches got blown away with a magical shot! AU Mami arrived at the scene, then, showing off the Grief Seed she had just gotten.]

...This again, Sayaka-san?

[She said, and then, she put her Soul Gem next to the Grief Seed, sighing in relief as the contamination drained away.]

[The other girls, with the expection of Madoka, in the meanwhile, were sighing enviously in Mami's direction.]

...Darn, I wish I had a fresh Grief Seed...

[AU Nagisa said with a groan. AU Madoka, in the meanwhile, had thrown her arrow by hand at the last Witches still nearby, and was now coming back to them with 2 Grief Seeds in her hand.]

[AU Madoka leaned over AU Sayaka, then, and sighed.]

- Really, Sayaka. One day, there just wouldn't be enough Grief Seeds to spare for you, and then what would you do?

[And then, she shook the fresh Grief Seeds in front of AU Sayaka's face, and put them away in a pouch.]

- Please, Madoka... Please. I'll be careful, and I'll fight, and I'll...I'll get the Witches next time, I promise!

[AU Sayaka rasped. Madoka looked around her team, and sighed.]

...OK, I'll let you use some of the used ones up, this once.

[She said, and dropped 4 used Grief Seeds in front of AU Sayaka, who quickly grabbed them with shakng hands and put them next to her Soul Gem.]

- But now - You owe me 4 fresh Grief Seeds, all right?

[Hanako shuffles nearby, also dressed in a cute classic witch outfit, peach and spring green with orange and black roses and a poofy flower petal skirt. Anthony bounced along side her, now an orange puffball with pumpkin leaves
"Ah Anthony, it has been so very long since we have gone out for halloween! well, now that I have more confidence to go out, and with friends to boot!" [she sees the group and runs up, waving[ "there you are! hello!" she pauses,noticing something wrong. Madoka didn't seem her gentle, sweet, kind , adorable self. She seemed cold and bitter and hard...]

[AU Madoka huffed, then.]

...Sure I do. Sayaka used to be a big fan of the TV live action drama version, back in the day...

[AU Homura took a deep breath, then.]

- Well, I really don't think that's the Midorikawa-san we know, because she sure as heck couldn't become a experienced Magical Girl like this when she was just a normal girl two weeks ago, which was when I last saw her. Right?

[And then, she paused.]

...And, um...This place we are now, it just feels different. I'm not sure why, but it does.

[Hanako, in the meanwhile, was blinking. Oh, so those were some AU versions of her friends, not the people she actually knew!]

[...Boy, that was a relief.]

...Oh. So you're all AU versions, and you just came here?

[All the AU girls stared at her, then.]

[Reimu has been a bit weary finding her porch suddenly decked out in decorations and children kcocking on her door demanding sweets in that outside world halloween festival, luckily for her the reality wave also provides some bowls of candy to give out. her mood ranges from grouchy to placed smile, hoping that the hakurei shrine would get some attention aside form just being another stop for candy.
But as the holy hakurei energy felt the prayer and the donation, Reimu perked up and greeted the older girls and younger girl, holding out the bowl and smiling] "Happy halloween!"

[She spent a minute or so admiring it - It was so pretty and clean, not a whit of contamination at all.]
