9and then Yuuko might sense a certain shift in world tree, signaling a new sudden arrival as a young girl poofed in nearby.she was maybe in her tweens, with just past shoulder length fair hair and light blue eyes with a tint of teal and dressed in fuffy frilly clothig of the early 1900s with a big hair bow.
the girl dusted off her dress abd gazed about in wonder, then gave an amused smiled and put her hands of her hips] "Well now! A bit earlier than I had planned for, I do think I even casted the spell yet, but it seems to have worked! It appears that I am in another world now!"

[Yuuko, in the meanwhile, was blinking, very slowly.]

[...This was...]

...Ahh, this is not the Gwen-chan we knew before, it seems...

[She murmured. Sumomo, in the meanwhile, was blinking.]

- She isn't?

[Sumomo took out her World Tree Phone, then, and checked the icon of the Gwendolyn who they'd known before, which was still grey'd out.]

- OK, I get it - This is a different Gwennie.

[She then tilted her head.]

Do you think this Gwennie will like the sweets and teas the other Gwennie did?

[Yuuko snickered a bit at that.]

Well, she does seem to have come from someplace pretty close in the Multiverse that the other Gwen-chan came from, so - I think so?

[Sumomo took a deep breath then.]

Well, OK then.

[And then, she turned toward the new Grendolyn, and raised her voice.]

- Heeey, Gwennie! Wanna come have some sweets and tea while we explain what the heck's going on?

[Gwendolen heard the call and looked over. She was a bit surprised that, pink haired girl with cat ears? seemed to know her, but she figured, it was most likely part of her destiny, so she was meant to be here.]
"Ah, it seems that I am expected! Well, here I am!" [gwendolen strode over with confidence. She bit feel a bit uncomfortable though, with the rather hot weather, her currnt clothing not for the season.]

[Yuuko smiled as Gwendolyn came toward her Shop.]

- Well met, Gwendolyn Chant - I am called Ichihara Yuuko, and I am the owner of the Shop of Wishes here.

[She said with a smile.]

[Sumomo waved up at Gwendolyn, then.]

- And I'm Sumomo, Yuuko's assistant! Nice to meecha!

[All three of them entered the Shop, then.]

[It was cool inside the Shop, as the magical air conditioners were working overtime.]

...Gwennie-chan? Gwennie-chan came back?

[A couple of the Fairies rustled.]

Or maybe a different Gwennie-chan? She doesn't feel quite the same...

[but gwnedolen remains unaware of any timelines and alternate implications. She just gazes up respectful at this glamorous woman. Gwendolen could sense that she was magically very powerful indeed. Perhaps as powerful as the Chrestomanci, just as fabulous a fashion sense. Urgh, why was she reminded of that dreadful man. However, this was a new oppurtunity , a chance of learning new power that being with Chretomanci SHOULD have been! so gwendolen turns up the charm. ]
"Indeed. Well met, Miss Ichihara!" [Gwendolen smiles sweetly, offering a polite curtsy.] "It seems that I was expected. splendid!"
[Gwendolen never did meet a Japanese person before. Well, apparently she did have a second aunt on her mother's side who moved to Japan for her magic training and ended up marrying a non magical Japanese man for whatever reason.]

[Yuuko's eyebrows were raising as her Inner Eyes showed her that Gwendolyn was thinking about somebody who looked a lot like Marisa-chan's mother.]

[Oh, ho?]

[But never mind that for now.]

...Well, there is something I have to tell you, right off the bat.

This is not the world you were trying to get to, you see...

[Aand that was when Sumomo came over with a large cream pudding and a potful of Oolong tea!]

[Gwendolen just raised a perplexed eyebrow in response to what this yuuko ichihara had said]
"Just what are you talking about? Of course this is the world I was meant to be in!"
[Gwendolen gladly accepts the offer of tea and pudding from that odd pink cat person imp]
"This is the world that I am going to achieve my destiny! I am going to become a great and powerful queen and rule as I was foretold!" [she jabbed a finger toward Yuuko] "And since Miss Ichihara, since you seem to have been expecting me, I assume that you are going to help me with this, yes?"

[Yuuko shook her head at that, gently.]

I'm afraid not, Miss Gwendolyn.

Though there are several worlds were you could quite possibly become a queen, and rule, at least for a while -

This place is not one of those places.

[Sumomo then went over and handed Gwendolyn a pamphlet.]

Welcome to the World Tree System, a place made up of many, many mini worlds!

[Gwendolen snatched the pamphlet and read it over. She recognized some of the information about these types of mini worlds from her recent research about the multiverse to prepare her travel to another world where she presumed she would reach her reigning destiny.]
"Ugh! Just some mini worlds!" [gwendolen slammed the pamphlet down in annoyance.] "Well then I must go on to the world that I am meant to be in to be queen!!"
[gwendolen avoided the tiny subconcious thought that if the prediction for her to become queen may have only applied to a mini world and not a full world....

[Aand that was when Sumomo giggled!]

Gwen-chan, Gwen-chan, why do you want to be a Queen of all things, anyway?

It's sooo much hard work!

Why not just try to use your magic to do useful stuff, and make lots of money that way?

Being a rich girl would probably be much more fun then being a Queen and having to do politics and all that, right?

[gwendolen scowled with great annoyance at Sumomo's comment there, and chucked her spoon at her]
"Oh do be quiet, you nasty little thing!! No one asked your opinion about any of that!!" [Gwendolen turned back towards Yuuko, attempting to put her pleasant facade back, but who knows if it was convincing.] "So are you going to help me then or not, Miss Ichihara?"

[Sumomo snickered as she grabbed the spoon out of the air, and licked it.]

...Well, that's true, I suppose...

[Yuuko, in the meanwhile, was sighing a bit.]

.......Well, if that's what you really want - I can help you up to a point, I suppose.

[Aand then, she waved her hand, and a boardgame with dice and dolls appeared on the table in front of them.]

[Aand then, a little Jester doll floated up in front of them.

Hello, hello - This is the Game of Kingdoms, where the players can pretend to be Kings, Queens and otherwise, and learn many things that way!

[And then, the little doll seemed to take a good look at Gwendolyn, and sweatdrop.]

.......OK. In your case, we'll better start out with a Special Tutorial Mode, or else you'll run your kingdom into the ground in no time flat!

[Gwendolen stared down at the board game, silent for a few moments, then let out a great sneer of annoyance and dissappointment.]
"no, no, no!!! I was NOT referring to just some silly game! I was talking about becoming a queen in real life! not this!" [Scowling, the young girl stood up, starting to make a motion to leave.] "well then, if you are not going to guide me, than I shall be off and I shall figure it out myself!!"

[Yuuko looked at Gwendolyn then, and sighed.]

Gwen-chan - You wouldn't try to do any magical spells without figuring out how it works and what to do if it blows up in your face, right?

Being the leader of a kingdom is even more complicated then trying to do some complicated spells, if you know what I mean...

[Still scowling, Gwendolen raised an eyebrow with some suspicion.]
"you mean, you are going to teach me spells to rule my kingdom then?"

[Yuuko looked at Gwendolyn, and sighed.]

Gwen-chan - Kingdoms cannnot be ruled by magic alone.

I can help improve your chances of doing a better job as Queen, if that's what you really want, but you're going to have to work hard at it if you want to succeed...

[Aand that was when Sumomo plopped a large pudding and some tea in front of Gwendolyn!]

But in the meanwhile - You'd better eat something before your tummy starts to rumble, I think!

[Sumomo paused, then.]

Otherwise, how would you ever get strong enough to reach your special destiny, the destiny just for you?

[Gwendolen was still scowling, but then she let up a bit, taking into consideration Miss Yuuko's words. She supposed that she was right. And she did always want to get stronger. And this was a very special destiny that was just for her...]
"All right. Fine then." [Gwendolen sits down to play the game. And she did take a bite of pudding as she was admittedly hungry.]

[Sumomo said, sighing, but then she nodded toward Yuuko, who pushed the game board forward.]

[Gwendolen made a face at the cartoonish talking acorn thing. it was adorable. Disgustingly, annoyingly so.. she Did not like it.
She was about to announce straight to coronation. Then again, She should learn more about the details and statistics of this little game.]
"Very well then. I shgould like to learn more about this kingdom." [Gwendolen announced.]

[The Arcorn Guide laughed - And then the scene changed.]

The Arcorn Kindom currently has 600 Subjects!

Some of the Arcorn Kingdom Nobles are not fond of the notion of a outsider becoming Queen, and are trying to find a way to get somebody they like better on the throne!

There are also 2 Kingdoms which are trying to find a way to invade and take over the Arcorn Kingdom!

[The Arcorn Guide spun around in a circle, then.]

[Gwendolen huffed] "Well they had better get used to me then! I was destined to be the queen of this kingdom! And two otheer kingdoms trying to steal it, eh! There shall be none of that!"
[so gwendolen chose option number 3 then.]
"Tell me more about this other kingdoms and who is plotting against me!"

[The Guide grinned at that, and pointed at the map, which flickered, two sections outside the Acorn Kingdom turning red.]

There are two Kingdoms which are trying to take over the Acorn Kingdom - The Chestnut Kingdom and the Candy Kingdom.

The Chestnut Kingdom is ruled by a King who's mother was used to be a Princess of the Acorn Kingdom.

His plan is apparently prove you to be a Fake Queen, and take over the Acorn Kingdom by insisting he was the last Royal who was related to the real Royal Family of the Acorn Kingdom.

The Candy Kingdom, on the other hand, does not have any Royals who are related to Acorn Kingdom's Royal Family, but their 3rd Prince is said to be very handsome, and apparently is planning to take over the Kingdom by whooing the new Queen, who happens to be you, marrying you, and then getting rid of you so he can rule the Acorn Kingdom as King.

[The Guide next showed Gwendolyn some holos of two richly dressed Acorn People.]

And about the nobles who are plotting against you - Great Noble Ein used to be the closest to the throne until you arrrived, and is quite understandably miffed that you "arrived out of nowhere to cheat him out of his throne", or so he says.

Chanceller Honeycombs, on the other hand, doesn't really want to get rid of you, but he does want you to be a figurehead Queen who does everything he says. He wants to be King in everything but name, in other words.

[Gwendolen nibbled on a finger nail in a surly manner as she took in all this information. Hmmm....]
"Well then, what about the other kingdoms around here? Do they have a part of any of this? Perhaps what of any allies that I may have myself?"
[It would certainly be nice if she had some pawns of her own to play with during this game of thrones[

[The Guide smiled at her, then.]

That is a very good question, my Queen!

However, I am afraid that I will need a day or so to get more information...

[Aand that is when a Acorn Royal Servant came running toward them!

Your Lordship, Lady Gwendolyn - We have to get ready for the Coronation!

All the Great Nobles are starting to gather already, and we're running out of time!

[The Guide nodded at that.]

If it was after the Coronation, I am sure I could get you much more of the information you need, Milady.

A Royal Ball is supposed to take place the day after your Coronation, so we should try to take the time to plan our moves before that, I think.

Kotomi hesitated for just a moment. She closed her eyes, breathed in, and told herself it was all safe.

After having finished taking a shower, Kotomi stepped out of the dressing rooms. She readjusted her dark blue one-piece over her breasts and her bottom while walking, having to get used to a bigger swimsuit the bigger she had become herself in some parts as she's aged. Kotomi was not one for too much physical activity, and this was the first time in a while she had been at the beach.

Sunlight came from above the arched rooftop. Kotomi rose an arm above her brow as her eyes readjusted to warm sunlight. Her bare feet touched the hydrophobic ceramic alloy, not sure what to make of it. It felt like metal, but it remained cool to the touch and was impossible to slip on or even scrape oneself with. Right in front of her was a statue, many miles tall, of what must have been an eagle-shaped Sojourner-Class Dreadnought that had been repurposed into a decoration and maintenance of the site.

Everything within the waterpark resembled a city made of onyx, but with slides, towers, rafts, and many more decorations that had been made for the entertainment of its people. Kotomi wondered if it would have been designed for a formerly aquatic species as well, but with no remnants left the moment it was found, it was instead made a water park.

It made her happy to see something remaining of the Forerunner that hadn't been their terrible weapons.

She rose her sight to the dormant dreadnought, before descending her eyes to the rest of the pseudo-city, smiling as she watched the many heroes and families play. It could be an interesting site to explore, even as a vacation spot.

[And that was when there was a voice behind her.]

...Kotomi-san? Is that you?

[Yes, it was Madoka, also dressed in a swimsuit.]

........This place is really something.

[And in the meanwhile..]

[A AU Kyubey was quickly sniffing at the water.]

[Madoka sighed at that, and opened her mouth - And that was when a cute ball of holo-light with eyes popped up right near their faces.]

This is indeed part of our VR Shows - It's a copy of a Waterpark that actually used to exist, eons and eons ago!

[The cute holo bobbed in their direction, then.]

Or that's what our scientists think it is, anyway - We're not a 100 percent sure, to be honest.

[And then, the cute thing floated up to them.]

Kotomi turned suddenly to the figure. She straightened... ah, it was familiar!

"Madoka-chan. Hello," Kotomi bowed, "it has been a long while. I hope you have been well. You are younger than I am."

She knew senshi stopped aging upon turning twenty-five, but apparently it was common with a lot of magical girls. Kotomi herself, being more of a magi herself, had been more subject to the effects of age than most of her friends... which ended reflected in her size. Not just height.

"It does hold haptic feedback of incredible precision. Even friends of mine that have simulations in their worlds have been impressed with the capabilities of the virtual reality technology of this world."

When the little Ancilla spoke, Kotomi stepped back, a little surprised! She leaned a little forward, extending a finger... ah, it seemed to be taking the form of a Forerunner Monitor. Fitting. Kotomi smiled as she felt more into the environment.

That said... she turned back to the rest of the waterpark, feeling a little guilty for having chosen to wear something closer to her home, than something aquatic the Forerunner would wear in a place like this.

She held Madoka's hand, "would you like to come? I really, really like studying things like these. Besides... I do believe it has been a long while. I would like to know what has happened so far."

Oh, I'll love to, Kotomi-san!

[Madoka said with a grin, and held Kotomi's hand back.]

[Aand that was when the AU Kyubey waved his paw!]

- You probably have some good reasons for not wanting to hang out with a lot of other versions of mine, buuut...

Well, yes, having human-like emotions really changes things, even for the Kyubeys, it seems!

[The AU Kyubey sighed at that.]

I was not at all happy about that development when it happened, I must admit - But on the other hand, having naked monkey like emotions can be sort of...interesting, even for beings like me.

[Madoka slowly blinked at that.]

...You know, Other Kyubey? I think you got human-ish emotions because your ancesters had those already.

[The AU Kyubey blinked at that.]

....Um, Madoka? I'm a living construct, basically - What ancesters would I have?

[Madoka laughed at that, and slowly picked him up.]

- Your creators based you on something else, something that was more like humans then you think, I think.

[And then, she patted him, and her eyes slowly went gold for a moment.]

...Or more to the point - Your creators based you, at least partially, on the species they had used to be, before they went and dumped all their "needless emotions" on the wayside.

[Madoka and her friends were flitting down the board walk, enjoying their summer time, heading down towards the beach. As Kyouko and Nagisa loomed over the many flavors of artisinal ice cream at the stand and sayaka and mami checked out some sun dresses on the sale rack outside, Madoka and Homura leaned over looking out at the bay taking in the scenery.
Suddenly For some reason, Madoka had the thought of one particular timeline. Actually it was an unusual branch that split off from the cycled timeloops, and it had at least 2 or 3 loops of its own since one did end half in tragedy and homura restarted, but the other ended up much happier with Walpurgisnacht being defeated with no one perishing in the battle. though conflicts continued in a part 2 arc afterwards.
These adventures here, The holy quintet, plus Nagisa sneaking in a copy of her from the Law of Cycles, were only side characters. No, this story was about a magical girl named Iroha Tamaki and her friends. a special story record in the Law of Cycle's observations....]
[Madoka's musings were interupted by a adirable tiny fluffy white critter hopping up to her] "Mokyu! Mokyu!"
"Ah? it's you! Bqby Kyubey!" [madoka laughed as the chibi almost kitten like Kyubey jumped into her arms and happily nuzzled her. This Kyubey was from that magical record timelines. once a regular kyubey model, it had somehow gone defective into this shrunken infantile form, empty and broken from the hivemind, from the wish energy of 3 misguided little girls who wished for kyubey's energy collecting harvesting and converting energy powers so they could take care of the magical girl system themselves. but it back fired on one of them, Iroha's little sister Ui, and she immediately started witching out so her two friends managed to safeguard part of her soul inside the new kyubey. but the process erased ui's memory of exitence from everyone and little touka and nemu went on to start a sinister magical girl cult raising Ui's queen level witch. So this sweet, adorable little kyubey helpong out iroha and friends was Ui all along, but perhaps from her influence, little kyubey grew a true genuinely sweet, gentle, helpful soul of its own and remained even after ui was saved...]
[madoka pet mini kyubey] "so you are here! does that mean iroha and friends are here too?

[The little one said, nodding, and butted Madoka's hand.]

[Aand that was when a yet another AU Kyubey arrived from the shadows!]

......I've seen all kinds of different versions of me, or rather, my collective, but that one really is weird, I must admit...

[He muttered.]

"Hello, Kyubey!" [Madoka greeted the AU Kyubey] "Well, this little one is from a timeline branch cycle anomaly that broke off from our main one that still puzzles even my goddess form was ppuzzled about!" [nodding to homura, Madoka sat down on a bench, holding the tiny chibi Kyubey in her lap and nudging the au regular sized kyubey over. She wondered if chibi kyubey here was currently timeline point still held the soul of young Ui Tamaki within it , or if Ui was free by now and chibi kyubey was fully an independent being with a developed true will and soul of its own. either way, it was still genuinely sweet and helpful and adorable] "It's quite a story, from what my goddess self watched over. Would you like to hear about it, Kyubey? would you like to know the story of the Magia Record?"

Yes, of course I would like that!

[Kyubey said with a grin - And then, he waved a hand, and a plate full of riceballs appeared and tea bottles appeared in front of them.]

- And see - I have even brought refreshments!

[Mami blinked at him, slowly.]

...Are you even capable of digesting that, Other Kyubey?

[The AU Kyubey grinned.]

- Sure I am! It just takes a little more energy then usual, that's all.

[Madoka chuckled at that]"Of course you can, Kyubey! I do remember the regular versions of you eating from our french fries, after all!" [though who knows if that regular kyubey was just making of act of eating fries to be cute to appease the girls, or if it really did want to eat fries, as much as its lack of emotions could.]
"Well, thank for the refreshments, other kyubey!" [Sayaka scratched Chibi Kyubey behind the ears] "Hey there! I remember you! Good to see you!"
[Chibi Kyubey cooed happily and took a rice ball and proceded to chow on it.
Sayaka then looked between chibi kyubey and the au kyubey] "you know, we really got to come up with different easier names for all these Kyubeys. We can't just call this one, that one, and the regular kyubeys just Kyubey! It'll get confusing, dontcha think?"

[The AU Kyubey paused at that.]

...Welllll. "Kyubey" is just a nickname in it's own right, but if you people want to give me a different one...

There used to be a pack of Magical Girls I used to know who used to call me "Nin-Kyu", now that I think about it.

[Kyoko stared at the AU Kyubey, then.]

...Let me guess. That was short for "Ninja Kyubey", right?

[The AU Kyubey snickered at that.]

....I was very good at outwitting the Incubator Collectives who replaced me and my collective when I ended up with almost human emotions, you see...

The oldest of them, watching over the rest, was almost an adult, gorgeous with long navy blue hair and long slender legs.
a wild looking tween girl with long blond pigtails and purple eyes bounded by the ice cream stand accompanied with an older teenage girl with long brown hair with a side ponytail with a chinese hair tie.] "yachiyo!!! I want to ice cream!!

[a shy looking girl with wavy green hair in half pigtails happily greeted a cat nearby, and a girl with pink hair in a low pony tail walked holding the hand of a little girl who resembled her] "Ui, right after this we can check out the lighthouse that you wanted to see!"

[back with Madoka, the tiny Kyubey trilled happily and ran over to them, nuzzling the pink haired girls.
Madoka grinned as she recognized the group and waved.] "Iroha chan! It's good to see you!"

[The girl Madoka had called Iroha looked at Madoka then, and her eyes widened.]

......Um? Madoka-san, didn't I just...???

[And then, she stared at Madoka some more, mumbling to herself.]

- Why does she feel...different, somehow?

[Aand that was when lots of World Tree Phones appeared out of thin air, and fell on top of the new Magical Girls's collective heads!]

Hello, newcomers! This place is called the World Tree System, and it actually gives you those new nifty Phones automatically when you first arrive here, ha ha ha -

[The oldest girl, Yachiyo, frowned with concern and examined the phone that appeared to her]. "I thought I felt that something was off. But just for how long has it transpired..."
