[35] Spring and the Rainy Season - Flowers, Umbrella's and More!
Spring has come to City *****, with the Rainy Season following it with a florish!
The World Tree Mart and the Market Square are all having their Spring Sales, while all kinds of Flower Festivals are taking place, all over City *****.
Some Beaches and Pools have also opened up early, while the Onsens and Spas are having all kinds of special events, such as watching cherry blossoms from the Onsens and more!
But wait - Several things out of the ordinary does seem to be happening, as it so often does in the World Tree System.
(1) During the Cherry Blosson Season - Some people and beings will be temporarily acquiring the powers to see and hear things that they normally can't see (such as ghosts, spirits, or glimpses from the future, past or AUs, or the memories associated with things that they touch, etc)
(2) During the Rainy Season - Some people and beings will suddenly find themselves being turned back into children and having their mothers or other parental figures come and get them in the rain, with a umbrella big enough for both of them.
[Whether the characters are affected by the Reality Waves or not are all up to their Muns. Whether the characters retain their original memories during the events or actually think they are children, etc during the second Reality Wave are also all up to the Muns. The Characters will go back to normal in 3 days, or whenever the Muns want them to.]
[This is an Open Post, and the Muns can make up their own Spring or Rainy Season themed events, and thread with each other, too.]

Yuuko' Shop Of Wishes Special Event - Hanami at the Spa!
...Sumomo? Do we really need six crystal balls?
I'm not really a fortune teller, you know...

Of Johnson. Of Samuel. Of Keyes. Of Cortana. Of his mother.
In those nights where he could have peace for himself, those dreams came. Of his mother's smell of soap and of the trinity that he, Kelly, and Samuel all formed as children. Simpler times, before either being chosen, and before everything that happened afterwards.
Sometimes... he missed it.
They must have been Insurrectionists. That was the only explanation John had regarding waking up all of a sudden on a strange colony, with people of numerous phenotypes, but with a culture he remembered were from the Japanese Samurai Deja had taught them about once.
The child scurried past the various tents, hiding from the colored lanterns everywhere on the streets. He stole a piece of food from a distracted teenager with a sword behind him that chatted with a laughing girl that was dressed like a witch. He ate it upon gaining distance from them...
It tasted good. It was different from the MREs, or even the food they were often forced to scavenge on the field. It was then when he saw them. People he could see through.
They must have been A.I. or holograms. But... holograms had never been as mobile. It must have been a big city. But no one kept guard on him, and most never even seemed to belong to any Insurrectionist movement. He had to keep going.
The store on the distance seemed the better place to hide. A wide, ample area, where he could set up a hidden base, and study this strange place, before he got back to Kelly and Sam.

With a smile on her face, and a dandelion-patterned yukata, Kotomi had wanted to spend some time in one once time became available. Her time reading multiple physics works and writing them had taken more time than she anticipated, and teaching those subjects often needed her to take account of grades... without even counting her work on Trans-Dimensional artifacts.
It was good to rest, and simply be with her loved ones.
Her body bounced with every step. Her arm remained wrapped around Ayaana's.
"I hope some of these new spas are unisex," Kotomi said, "I heard a roman architect was being involved in the creation of these new ones."

Lady's Baths on the right, Gentlemen's Baths on the left!
And yes, we do have a Unisex Spa Section, but you do have to wear Bathing Clothes if you go there, you see...
[Kotomi looked at him, and almost burst out giggling.]
...Other Kyubey! What are you doing here?
[The AU Kyubey snickered, then.]
It's a Reality Wave, but at least it's one of the fun ones, soooo.
...That's good!
[Kotomi said with a smile, and then looked around them, smiling.]
Ayaana? Let's wash off at the Lady's Baths and Gentlemen's Baths, and then meet at the Unisex Section!

He left Kotomi back on her feet, and found himself laughing when she held his waist and nuzzled his chest. Then, they separated.
Just before entering the Gentlemen's Baths, he took a moment to look at Kotomi. He realized Kotomi had stopped to watch him first, having her giggle upon being found out.
Upon undressing, Kotomi lifted a bucket of hot water above her head, and then used a soap and towel to wash every part of her body. By now it as a common tradition to do this either alone or with female friends, though she made the mental note to add a bathhouse to her future home with Ayaana so they could do this together. Maybe a house in a more English style with a few Japanese elements.
After having every part of her body was covered in soap, Kotomi then poured another hot water bucket onto herself, wiped the soap off herself with a wet towel, and finished by using a dry towel.
Kotomi stood up, walked around the Lady's Baths, and temporarily stopped at the section offering swimsuits. She picked a one-piece swimsuit, remembering fondly her days in Hikarizaka, before continuing on.
On the way, she wondered if there were more female friends around here.

[Aand that was when a familiar voice came from behind Kotomi.]
...Hi, Kotomi-chan!
[Kotomi slowly turned back.]
.....Yuuko-san! It's been a while!
[Yuuko was wearing something that looked like a very colorful and slinky Yukata over her bathing suit. Kotomi looked at the butterfly themed Yukata, and blinked, slowly.]
- Ohhh - That looks nice, Yuuko-san...
...Why, thank you!
[Yuuko said with a grin.]
- You may not have noticed this, but they've got all kinds of things you can wear over your bathing suits here, and you can rent one for free!
It's part of the special summer package, you see...
[Kotomi blinked at that.]
- Huh, really?
[And then, she looked at Yuuko's Yukata again.]
- Where do they keep those Yukatas, Yuuko-san?
I'd like to try them too!
[And in the meanwhile, at the Gentlemen's Baths...]
[Ayaana was slowly blinking as James pointed to a long row of Yukata's for Men.]
......You...You really think that Kotomi would like it if I wore one of those over my bathing suits?
[James nodded, a grin on his lips.]
- I definitely do, ho ho ho -

She looked at Yuuko's yukata, swearing that those butterflies moved at the same time with her very existence. Hmm... She slid some of those outfits to look for a few of them. Ah, that one looked good! Kotomi smiled.
It was a yukata with a starry pattern, with gleaming links every so often to its stars. Kotomi dressed herself with it, grateful from having it snugly fit her figure. She turned to Yuuko... still towered by the supernatural woman, even after having become a fully mature adult woman. Kotomi assumed it was part of all of the powers Yuuko had.
Emerging from the clothing areas, Kotomi took a long look at the stars and moon above, smiling. She tied her hair into a bun beneath her towel, undressed herself, and gradually descended into the water, extending her arm to Yuuko to come with her.
no subject
This is very nice! But Kotomi-chan?
[Aand that was when a grown-up Ami came into the baths, grinning.]
...Hello, Kotomi-chan! Long time no see, eh?
[And then, she pointed to the side of the baths, where a robot attendent was holding a very cute baby.]
Aand that is my baby, Aki!
no subject
She leaned back while beaming at Ami... then, she turned silent, as she looked at the child. Her steps above the water spread lightly as she approached with care. Wanting not to make a single sound, or scaring the child. Her breathing slowed down, marveling at the little creature.
"She's beautiful," Kotomi whispered. She turned to Ami as she rose a hand, "may I...?"
Let Aki get ahold of her hand? Hold her? Know what is it like to have a child? For all the temptations, Kotomi treated the child with distance and care. Seeing it as the precious thing it was.
no subject
...Um. Is she supposed to do that?
- Yes, yes, it's fine - Aki is a people person, unlike me.
[Ami laughed - And then, her eyes went a bit sad.]
- Even my mother noticed that fact. Which is something, I suppose.
[Kotomi slowly blinked. Why had Ami looked so sad when she mentioned her mother?]
...Did something happen, Ami-san?
[Ami sighed, then, and put her daughter back into the robot attendent's hands.]
Well, Kotomi-chan - You knew my Mom when we lived together here, right? So I think - I think I have to tell you this, just in case she comes to World Tree again.
[And then, Ami put her hand up, setting up a small magical field around them for privacy.]
- Well, my Mom turned out to be a reincarnation of somebody from the Moon Kindgom who wasn't really on our - Well, the real Senshi's side.
Plus, she thought the real Mizuno Ami was dead, and I was an imposter.
So...Be careful if you meet her again, OK?
[Kotomi stared at her for a long moment.]
...But - But Sachiko-san is your Mom. She loves you!
[Ami sighed, and shook her head.]
- Yes, probably, but -
[Kotomi grabbed Ami's hand then.]
...Why did she think you - Well, the "Real Mizuno Ami" was dead, anyway?
[Ami sighed, then.]
Well, you see - I and the rest of the team died at the South Pole a long time ago, when we fought a being called Metallia. This was our first really big battle, and then, Usagi-chan made a Wish to reset the world, and we got to live again, buuut....
As it turns out, our old bodies were just there all the while, frozen in the snow. And by old bodies, I mean really old bodies - They were made of real flesh and blood, not magical energies like our current bodies, so they wouldn't go up in sparkles or anything like that...
[Kotomi looked at her, then, visibly sweatdropping.]
....Um. Ami-san? You - You know that Usagi-san was always bad at cleaning up stuff, right?
Including stuff like cleaning up her room?
[Ami buried her face in her hands, then.]
- Yuuuup.

"Are you familiar with the Teletransportation paradox?" Kotomi continued, knowing Ami would know it just as well, especially now. "It's the question if a teleportation by disassembly and reassembly of atoms and even consciousness would count as the same being. In some of the worlds I've read where other people have not been so much gathering in willingly as much as being trapped in them, it continues to be a question of the self so not unlike the Ship of Theseus."
It helped Kotomi to study these concerns analytically. Academia turned the terrifying unknowable into something that could be broken down into experiments, put it into fields of study, have their risks and benefits analyzed, and used in order to improve the world as a whole. Right now, it is what Kotomi is doing in order to process this.
The fact the Ami she loved was a replica of another she never got to meet.
Kotomi breathed in, and exhaled, "my... my first mom believed that the spirit of something is what remains. That no matter if all the physical parts change, and even the mental ones, she treated the spirit as the one eternal thing that could not be changed or even destroyed."
She held Ami's hand, "and... John-san once told me, that we are our choices. Not those of the people in the past, or even orders given to us." She then frowned.
"Your mother should know she is your mother. Not a reincarnation. She cared for you, you two loved eachother... it's not fair. She should have remained by your side. You are still her daughter."
Kotomi felt Aki's hold on her hand, and her eyes and expression softened. She lowered her head, breathing in, and extending an arm to hold Ami.
"I do not know what may happen in the future, but..." she looked up, "I'm... not the original daughter of my parents, either. But they took me and loved me as if I had been their own. If you ever need someone, me and my parents will be there for you."

Thank you, Kotomi-san.
[Aand that was when there wqs a big splash on the other side of the wall separating the Woman's Baths and the Men's Bath!]
Dear Costomer - Please do not enter the bathtubs dressed on your normal clothes?
[There was a sigh, then.]
Sorry, Robot-san. I wasn't planning to get teleoported right into the bath, honest!
[Ami's mouth dropped open, then.]
......Papa!?
[There was a pause.]
....Ami? Is that you? Your mother said - some very odd things about you and Aki-chan, the last time we talked...
[Ami groaned, then, and let her head thunk on the bathtub's edge.]
........Ummmm. I was trying to figure how to talk to you about that, actually.
Sorry, Papa.
[Aand that was when Ayaana (on the Men's Baths sides) went over to where Ami's father was.]
......Hello, my name is Ayaana, and I am engaged to Kotomi, who is your daughter's friend.
And if you want a hand getting out of that bath...
[Ami's father blushed, then.]
Oh, right, of course!
[And then he turned toward the wall.]
Ami...Can we talk someplace? I'm getting a bit worried about your mom, to be honest...
[Ami nodded at that.]
Of course!
[About 15 minitues later...]
[Ami, Aki, Ami's father, Kotomi, and Ayaana were all wearing the simpler version of the Spa clothes.]
[They had rented one of the Japanese style rooms with a low table and zabutons.]
[Ami's father seemed to be very happy to see his grandchild.]
....Aki-chaaaan! You're so so so cuteee!
[Ami groaned as her daughter began to cry.]
...Papaaa! You're scaring her, stop already, OK!?
[Kotomi grined at that, and served everybody green tea and sweets.]
So um...
[Ami's father sighed.]
- The last time I saw you, you'd transformed right in front of us, and teleported away, and your mother was crying and telling me that "our Ami" was dead, she'd been dead since she was 14 or so, and then she teleported away in a flurry of black petals, and...
...When I woke up after that, the planet Earth had been saved again, and now, there was a large spaceship floating on top of us that was now being called the Neo Silver Millenium Capital for some reason, and all the politicians were nattering like crazy about our "New Ally" on TV.
- I was pretty sure that this was all a dream, and I was going to wake up very soon, and things would be back to normal, to be honest.
[Ami groaned at that.]
......And then you ended up here again, so things seemed even more like a dream, right?
[She sighed again, then.]
Well, sorry, Papa - That wasn't a dream, it was all true.
I'm still me, Mizuno Ami, though, no matter what Mom thinks.
[Ami's Papa shook his head, then.]
She told me she'd found your dead body at the South Pole?
[Ami sighed again.]
........That was my...old body.
[Ami's Papa stared at her, and then at Aki, and put his hand to his face.]
.............Ami. Can you be sure that you're the same Ami you used to be, and not a...replica?
[Ami looked at him, and drummed her fingers on the table.]
- Well, I asked Usagi-chan, and Usagi-chan said that she was pretty sure we all had the same souls as the original versions, even if we were a bit different in some ways.
She had vague memories of washing all our souls and Mamoru-san's souls like crazy so we'd be clean enough to put into new bodies, and then creating new bodies, and then trying to download our original version's memories back into those bodies, soo...
[Ami's father slowly blinked, then.]
So...Usagi-chan wasn't really dead, if she didn't have to wash her own soul?
[Ami blinked at that.]
....Huh. I hadn't asked her about that, now that I think about it...
[Kotomi, who had been quietly listening, nodded at that.]
....Ohh! I'd wondered how she'd managed to get people back from the dead without all the bad stuff happening like in the old folk tales...
- She'd washed the souls clean first, and then put them in replica bodies, and installed replica memoies!
[Kotomi tilted her head, then.]
.....But...doesn't that mean that this Ami-chan is still a replica of sort, even if she's a very good one, with the same soul?
[Ayaan stared at her, then, and put a big paw-hand over her mouth.]
...Ko-to-mi. There are some things you shouldn't say, even if you think it!
[Kotomi groaned at that, and mumbled -]
Sorry, Ayaana-san, Ami-san...
[Ami stared at both at then, and then smiled.]
...Oh, that's all right, Ayaana-san - I came to the same conclusion long ago.
Not only am I a replica of sorts, I'm a replica created by Usagi-chan, basically.
An idealized "Ami-chan", seen thought Usagi-chan's eyes.
[Ami's father slowly blinked at that.]
....That would explain why you suddenly developed the ablity to communicate with people who weren't your mom or me about when you were about 14 years old, I suppose.
You also became much less - intense about your studies, aroud that time. Or about what your mom thought about you, for that matter.
[Ami groaned at that.]
....Well, my life did become a bit easier once I could actually talk to people semi-normally, I must admit!
[Ami's father nodded at that, slowly.]
- So basically, I had two daughters. One died, this one's alive, but they both have the same soul anyway so whatever?
[Ami's father reached over, and patted Ami's head, then.]
...I'm glad you exist, anyway.

What sank Kotomi's heart, and made her realize how fragile life was, was that Ami had been a victim of it just as well. She extended her hand to hold Ami's own in support. As a silent way to tell her that, even if she was a reincarnation, she was still the friend she loved dearly.
She remembered the story of the Ami that saved her world, but never returned from the South Pole.
"I am sorry," Kotomi bowed her head, shutting her eyes in shared sadness, "for you. For the Ami that passed away there. For all of you. She was a brave person."
Long ago, Kotomi swore to Ami that she would protect her one day. A promise she fulfilled the day they faced the Vigil, and continued to hold. And yet that continues to pain her when she remembers the Ami that did not make it.
"Something... I remember, was regarding the star seeds. Something similar to 'soul vessels' of the senshi, though I cannot be completely sure," she says, "many magi apply similar principles in order to increase their powers and protect themselves. I have not done that, but..."
She rose her head, "that same shared soul... is one and the same. We all change. We all find ourselves shifted by everything happening around us. But the soul remains. Our relationships remain."
no subject
[Ami said, and slowly hugged Kotomi.]
- Thank you, Kotomi-chan.
I'm glad I managed to become friends with you - And you may or may not know this, but it's hard for me to make friends with people who aren't family or Senshi, even now...
[She paused, then.]
I mean, I can talk to people at the workplace normally how, but...once we get home, I have no idea if I'm going to have to time to be a doctor anymore.
We managed to avoid the "Great Freeze" that Chibi-Usa-chan's timeline went though, but the Neo Silver Millenium ended up coming to be anyway, soooo....
[Ami's father blinked at that.]
- Oh, right - So you're going to have to live in the big floating spaceship up in the sky, then? When we go back?
[Ami sighed.]
Probably. Since it's supposed to be the Capital of the Neo Silver Millenium now, and all that.
[Ayaana nodded at that, and then, snickered a bit.]
- Poor Lady Ami - You're going to have to learn how to do all kinds of things now.
[And then, he whispered.]
Like...politics.
[Ami groaned at that.]
- Yes, I probably do, don't I?

They barely had any time to themselves. Ami would stop having time for herself as bigger and bigger threat emerged, among them, the threat of 'Chaos', that she had found during her studies of the multiverse. And as she likewise attained a position of power, they would be forced to leave many old passions behind.
Home or adventure. After a long time of thought, Kotomi decided she wanted a nice, quiet life, married to Ayaana and surrounded by books.
She closed her eyes. She wasn't fated to some great glory like many heroes were. She became a heroine out of skill and circumstance. She didn't want to imagine what would it be like to carry the weight of your world on your shoulders. She had it happen once, and it was a nightmare she and her friends narrowly averted.
"There are always descendants," Kotomi says, "this may be a little cynical. But your children will be your future. They may yet have what you cannot."
She lowered her head, "it is not a fate to dump on anyone's shoulders that young. But if they can have that life being a doctor, or whatever they know in their hearts of hearts desire, it will be worth it."
no subject
Kotomi-chan. Um...
I do want my kids to be happy and successful and all that, but I don't think...pushing my kids to make my dreams come true in my place is a good thing to do, if you get my meaning.
Look, I know that it's important to study hard and train even harder if you want to make a good life for yourself, and kids tend to slack off if you just let them do what they want, especially if they're young, but...
I...Um, I don't want to turn into a mother like my Mom if I can help it, OK?
I don't want my kids to think that I wouldn't love them or I'll be disappointed in them if they didn't do exactly what I wanted them to do.
[And then, she sighed.]
.......I'm sure my mother felt she was doing the best for me when she told me she wanted me to be a doctor, and not a starving artist like my father, too, but...
She was always so pushy about it!
And she'd get drunk sometimes, and mumble over and over that she could have been a great doctor instead of just a good one if she hadn't got pregnant with me, and gotten married to Dad.
[Ami's father groaned at that.]
Ami - I'm not starving! And I wasn't a starving artist, even back home!
I mean, I might have been if it hadn't inherited stuff from my grandparents, but...
[And then, he sighed too.]
Look, we did get married becauase she got pregnant with you, but we did fall in love before that, and we did love each other, even though our marriage fell apart, and we still did and do love you.
....Well, I love you, and I'm sure your mother does too, even though she's not quite Saeko anymore, OK?
[And then, he paused.]
- Oh, right。Ami, do children of Senshi always become Senshi?
[Ami twitched at that.]
.........Not always, I don't think, but...More often then not, I think?
[Her father nodded at that, a bit sadly.]
- Ahhh.
no subject
Dr. Ichiniose was one to read the reports of the multiverse, in how some threats appeared every so often. The wars of the worlds of many of her friends were now over, or at least winding down enough to no longer be a risk to any of them. But she was aware decades could pass in peace, before something else happened.
And when it happened, people would be called. Either Ami, or her children.
"I did not mean to imply you should put your desires onto your daughter, Ami-chan. I am sorry. Please forgive me, Ami-chan. I should not have said that." She bowed deeply, clutching her hands together in regret. She slowly rose up, head still down. Ayaana held her.
"I believe... I believe it is common for children to take up after their parents. It should be their will what do they choose to do in life. But it shouldn't mean you will all be trapped in some fate."
Beneath the table, Kotomi moved a hand to Ami's, holding it.
"And... if you ever need help with anything, whenever if it's your job or your personal life, we can always help you."
The promise Kotomi made to Ami, that she would protect her, was still in effect. And Ayaana, hugging his fiancee and knowing well how deeply important her friend was to her, smiled to Ami.
no subject
.......You know, once in about a million years, I actually wish I was Usagi-chan.
[Kotomi sweatdropped at that.]
...........Are you sure of that, Ami-san? That doesn't sound like you at all!
[Ami stared at her, then.]
Yes, I'm sure of that, actually.
[And then, Ami took a deep breath again, and nodded toward Ayaana.]
Please let me borrow your fiancee for a moment, Ayaana-san?
[Aand then, she pulled Kotomi into her arms, and hugged her, softly!]
........Kotomi-chan. I'm sorry I - I said things in ways that made you feel bad, OK?
And I wish I was more like Usagi-chan because she's usually much better with me in the "getting along with people" department, and, and...
[Ami grabbed Kotomi's shoulders, then, and looked her in the eyes.]
....Kotomi-chan! I was so glad we could become friends. Would you - would you be my friend from now on, too?
[Ami looked at bit shamefaced, then.]
Even though I'm not too good at...people stuff? Even now?
no subject
Kotomi held Ami's hands.
"The promise I made you that day, so long ago, is still in effect," Kotomi's voice broke, "don't think I would want to stop being friends with you. You are smart, I can talk about anything with you, and I knew from the moment I first met you that we were one of a kind. Learning of your true calling only made me understand you and admire you even more."
She closed her eyes.
"If you are ever in trouble, if anything comes that you can't fight on your own or even with the senshi, tell me. I beg you. There are always threats in every world. But I have not forgotten what I promised to you. You and your friends should not be the only one being forced to carry the weight of the world at all times."
She pressed her body against hers. Ami felt the exact same way she did when she first met her. Kotomi herself, she realized, was taller and fuller-bodied. Ami and the senshi would live on, whereas she became older.
"I want a normal life. I want a husband. I want a cozy job and career. I want children. I know I deserve it all because all thinking beings deserve the right to choose, but..."
Kotomi cradled Ami's cheeks, smiling.
"So do you."
She then leaned forward, wrapping her arms around Ami.
"You are one of the best things that has ever happened to me ever since I crossed the barrier between universes. You let me into your life, and entrusted me with your secret. I learned great wonders as well as deep horrors with you, and you remained with me."
Her hold tightened, before Kotomi rose her head, resting her forehead onto Ami's.
"Do not think I would ever let you go."
Kotomi hugged Ami, holding the back of her head, and pressed her cheek against hers.

......Thanks, Kotomi-chan.
[About 30 minutes later...]
[Kotomi had gone back to the locker room, and had now tried to put the kimono-style over-swimsuit over the swimsuit she was wearing.]
[She looked into the mirror, sighing at the way the Kimono-style over-swimsuit seemed to be hanging off her body all wrong.]
...This is harder then I'd thought. And as for my hairstyle...
[Aand that was when Sumomo the Cat Girl poppped up right behind her!]
.......Yohoo, Kotomi-chan - I am here, and ready to adjust that swimsuit-kimono and do your hair!
[Kotomi's eyes brighted at that.]
- Ohhhh, thank you, Sumomo-chan!
[A few minutes after that...]
[Kotomi walked into the Warm Waters Pools Area. Her eyes lit up as she caught sight of Ayaana, who was now wearing a male kimono style over-swimsuit over his swimsuit.]
...Ayaana-san! You look so - so handsome!
[She said, softly blushing.]
Spring Solistice
...Hmmm. I think I have everything I need now...
Rain, Umbrellas, and Parantal Figures
Let's see - I never had a childhood, much less a mother, right?
So who is supposed to come get me, again?
[Little Reimu grinned as she picked him up.]
...Well, even if you were made in a factory, somebody should have designed you or something like that, right?
Re: Rain, Umbrellas, and Parantal Figures
"Maybe not." [Lttle Reimu tossed the kyubey off the porch. "you should leave here probably. Youkai and stuff shouldn't be here." [how did she know this white furry thing again?] [She watched marisa, now a child too, run around outside, enjoying the rain and splashing into puddles. two young women, one a shrine maiden, and the other a western girl with blond girls, soon approached the little girls with their respective culture unbrellas]
Re: Rain, Umbrellas, and Parantal Figures (1)
...Well, I'm not a Youkai, and if the World Tree System didn't want beings like me to be turned into kids, I wouldn't have been turned into a kid in the first place, right!?
[The AU Kyubey snickered even more as a young Kitsune Youkai skipped past them, holding on to his mother's skirt.]
Plus, the actual Youkais seem to be here, which means you are wrong, wrong, wrong...
[And then, the tiny AU Kyubey stuck out his tongue at her, looking very young indeed all of a sudden.]
[Little Reimu looked at him, and puckered her lip.]
- Well, whatever - It's not like you're one of my friends, anyway!
[The tiny fluffy thing shrugged at that.]
So you're not the same Hakurei Reimu I ate some cookies under a table with? Too bad.
[Aand that was when a pink haired child came running toward them.]
...Other Kyukyu, stop! Why are you fighting with that girl, all of a sudden?
You're not supposed to have fights with your friends, remember?
[Reimu puckered her lips again.]
We're not fighting! And it's not like we're friends, either. This is the first time I met this critter!
[The tiny AU Kyubey nodded at that.]
...I thought for a moment that she might be a version of a Reimu I had made friends with, just turned into a child for now, but she's not the same version at all, it seems...
Re: Rain, Umbrellas, and Parantal Figures (2)
...Oh! So you thought you knew this girl, but this one's a different version, so you didn't really know her?
[Little Kyubey sighed at that.]
Yep!
[Reimu, in the meanwhile, was still huffing.]
Humph!
[And then, she turned toward Little Madoka.]
......What's your name, anyway?
[Little Madoka grinned at her.]
My name is Kaname Madoka!
[Little Reimu grinned back at that.]
I'm Hakurei Reimu.
[Little Maodka nodded at that - and then, tilted her head.]
Hakurei? ...Wasn't there a Hakurei Shrine near here?
[Little Reimu's eyes shined, then.]
...Ohhhh! You know about my Shrine?
no subject
And then came the rain, and the reality wave , and the girls had a sudden urge to play upon the playground set, reliving childhood memories, even among the rain.
[And little Sayaka jumps up, posing with a stick like a sword] "Don't worry , pretty princess Madoka! Im coming to save you! I'm the great knight Sayaka!"
[Little madoka nestled upon the tower of the playground structure, giggling]. "Hooray! my hero! brave knight sayaka!"
[and little kyouko joined in the scene, riding a stick as a horse] "Don't forget the really cool thief rebel hero too!"
[Little homuraa cowered shyly while little mami was setting out tea cups, baby Nagisa wiggling around and chewing on things]
(1)
...Heeey, heey - I'm looking for Ma-do-ka!
[And then, she hiccuped.]
I think?
[Little Madoka stared at that, sweatdropping.]
...Mo - Mom!?!?
Why are you so little? Why, you look younger then I do!
(2)
Welll, I was coming to get you with a really big umbrella, but then, I turned into a kid, all of a sudden!
[Aand then, she showed Madoka the umbrella, which was indeed, very big.]
[Little Madoka slowly blinked at that.]
...But if you're a kid, who's supposed to come and get you, Mom?
[Little Junko giggled some more.]
Well, I dunno! Maybe my Mom?
A fun day at the beach!
...Now thaaat's a nice selection...
