[33] Autumn, Harvest Festivals, and Halloween!
Autumn has come to City *****, and the trees are turning red and gold -
And now the time has come for all kinds of Autumn Celebrations, such as Harvest Festivals, as well as Halloween and other similar holidays!
The Merchant Districts and World Tree Mart are all having their Annual Autumn and Halloween Holiday Sales -
And City ****'s City Hall is also having a large party for Halloween and other related and similar holidays and festivals, such as Nightmare Night.
However, several strange things are happening, as things often do in the World Tree System and City *****...
(1)The Monster's Harvest Festival - All kinds of people and beings will find themselves turning into various kinds of Monsters for the duration of this Harvest Festival.
(2)Mini Witchs Be Here - Some people and beings will suddenly find a PMMM Style Mini-Witch popping out of their chest. The Mini-Witch is not very powerful as a general rule, but they will insist on following the person who produced them around, and also try to do things that the person who created them secretly wants to do but thinks they should not.
[Whether the characters are affected or not by the Reality Waves are all up to their Muns. All the Reality Wave's effects will end in 3 days, or whenever the Muns want them to end.]
[Whether the characters keep their original memories while they are transformed into Monsters, or end up with the memories of the AU version they have transformed into are all up to the Muns too.]
[This is an open post, and the Muns can make up events and thread with each other as long as it fits the themes.]

...Ouch. What in the world are you doing, Kirisama Marisa?
[Marisa looked up, and blushed a bit.]
- Oh, sorry, Nicer Kyubey - I wanted to get to do some proper Samhain Rituals with my Mom for a change, you see...
[The AU Kyubey blinked.]
...You didn't get to do them up to now, then?
[Marisa sighed at that.]
Things seemed to go wrong every time we tried something, these last couple of times - Why, the last time, Mom got turned into a baby right as she was tellling me some old stories about our family!
[The AU Kyubey grinned at that.]
...Welll. I don't think I can do anything about sudden baby-fying, but I do know about lots of old rituals, if you're interested...

Well, we don't come from the same world, but I've been here for a while, and I've met a lot of magic-users here, soo...

[Marisa walked briskly, the AU Kyubey by her side, and soon enough, they reached Merida's cottage, which was much bigger on the inside then the outside.]
.......Moommm! I'm here!
[Marisa called out.]
Kotomi Ichinose | Clannad
Her small feet crunched over the mud, closing in... seeing the eight chitinous legs of a spider, and the bare waist of a humanoid woman, with chitinous forearms that...
... that was herself. Purple hair, pigtails, bobbles, and the same curious expression. Kotomi stared in awe, placing one hand over the mirror. Pressing her palm against the arachne-like woman that she was in that world.
Then, the reflection smiled.
Kotomi realized her hand and wrist suddenly felt thicker, only to realize it was her forearm being covered in black chitin. All while the woman on the mirror grinned, and had her arm suddenly covered by human skin, and all eight legs shrinking and fusing to become two bare, if plump human legs, while Kotomi's eye level rose above her own reflection.
The reflection of herself rose her sight to look at her, laughed, and walked away, losing herself in the distance, running away with Kotomi's body.
"Wait!" Kotomi rose an arm and leaned forward, "don't leave me like this! Don't--"
Kotomi felt eight holds beneath herself stomping as she moved, with even the weight of something just behind her. She stopped, and the stomps did as well. She turned to the murky water on the swamp. She moved closer, once again hearing the stomps.
When she glanced down at her reflection, she saw her upper body. Then, she saw the lower body of a gigantic spider, along with all eight legs she suddenly controlled.
Kotomi screamed at what she was.
Kotomi's eyes bolted awake with a sudden jolt. She breathed deeply, holding her big chest... all eight legs underneath her curling, and her black-and-red thorax bumping against her bed, as she slowly came to remember the nightmare, of her having been a human, and then becoming a monster, and screaming, and...
... and... waking up, realizing there was a grey, rumbling sky outside... and that she had always been a monster-woman. Only then did her expression soften, and wondered why had she been scared in the first place.
She rested her hands on her front legs, breathed deeply, and served herself some green tea. It was a beautiful day outside, just as she liked it. Once the shock passed, Kotomi changed her clothes for something befitting her human frame and arachnid frame, crept down the stairs, and then went through her usual commute.
One thought, as her eight legs moved her along, came through her mind as they celebrated All Hallow's Eve: Changes were a constant in this world, and it sometimes included mental ones. These changes happened so often, Kotomi stopped worrying about any transformations that happened, and even the ones where she remembered other pasts...
Another odd thought came to her, as she walked smoothly with all of those eight legs she swore she had grown up with, and remembering how she'd happily tie Tomoya the robot around her library for them to eat together, or how she would make a gigantic web for herself and Ayaana the Werewolf for them to date:
What if those memories were different in some regard to what she actually was?
Kotomi regarded those events as precious, do not get her wrong. Whenever if they were real or false, she had always chosen to live her life accepting whatever truth that was, as she knew there was always a core of truth in them.
But, a third thought lingered: If for some reason she used to be 'hyuuman', would there be a time when she was left like this, permanently, with the World-Tree and even herself forgetting what she used to be?
A sudden movement snapped her out of her thoughts.

[What a weird dream. He was a Dog Man, of all things?]
[Though the Dog Man version of him was pretty handsome, he did have to admit.]
[...Though not as much as Ayaana was in his quasi-Hyuumon form, he thought, ho ho ho -]
[And Kotomi as a Hyuumon, on the other hand, had been utterly adorable.]
[Ayaana shook his head, then, and picked up the carcass of the horned rabbit he'd hunted for Kotomi.]
[Yep, there she was!]

[Ayaana said via mindlink, and bounced into the clearing Kotomi was in.]

All eight of her arachnid legs crept towards Ayaana in a soundless locomotion, before cradling around him. Her humanoid arms wrapped onto his fur, until her face was close to his snout... and she smiled.
She cradled Ayaana's snout with both hands, and pressed her lips onto it. Trapping him, cradling him, oversizing him by more than twice the height, mass, and legs.
Kotomi was an enormous woman, as all arachne were. In comparison, Ayaana was a small animal that was all too easy for Kotomi to trap in her web... and to hug, cuddle, nuzzle, and play. She was especially eager for the nights of full moon, which was when the roles changed, and Ayaana oversized her instead.
Her hind legs would create a web line for her to climb upwards, alongside Ayaana. Then, she would rapidly weave a silver hammock for the two of them to rest their large bodies on, moving all eight legs like lightning... before resting her large body on top of it, feeling only the barest creaking of trees with their collective weight.
She dug her teeth into the rabbit, biting with satisfying crunches. Sharp fangs and teeth as strong as steel against juicy bones and flesh. She herself hunted, as arachne could, but women like her always felt on the verge of starving, hence
Her meal softened under her crunches, and Kotomi rose her mouth and meal to let it slide down her neck. Biting and gulping the flattened rabbit, until the whole prey descended down her neck, and into her stomach.
Kotomi felt at peace. She licked her blood off her lips, chitined hand resting over her midsection. Her stomach remained engorged with the whole rabbit, the sudden swell making it look like a full pregnancy.
She rested on her back, with Ayaana the wolf on top of her belly and letting his snout rest on her big chest, scratching the back of his ears.
"Thank you, Ayaana-kun," Kotomi wrapped her arms over Ayaana's furry body, "I'll find us a deer for our date. Our favorite."
Game was plentiful, as were the monsters they met when they reached this dimension. Kotomi then realized another thing that made that dream all the sillier. In a multiverse that held many civilizations, why would there be only one kind of species, those 'hyuumen'? She leaned her head back as she finally realized how silly it all was.
"Will you get the chance to transform tonight?" Kotomi asked. "my friends are also planning to go to the All Hallows' Eve celebration. I just saw Kyou-chan flying over the cloudy skies, and nesting over the buildings. She is seeking for a partner tonight."

...Well, of course I will - It's much easier to cook in my Hyuumon-ish shape, right?
[Aand that was when there was a crash, and a Rabbit-Girl came running though the woods!]
...Heeeey, Kotomi-chan! Ayaana-san! Are you there?
[Rabbit-Girl! Chibi-Usa said with a grin.]
.......Oh, hi, Chibi-Usa-Hime!
[Kotomi said with a grin.]
Your family's going to be at the Festival tonight, right?
[Chibi-Usa grinned at that.]
Well, of course we are! And so is our special wine!
[Ayaana and Kotomi both grinned at that.]
That's wonderful, Princess!

It had that delightful combination of the taste of rare marinated flesh with a bittersweet taste, almost salty, that went amazingly with fresh meat. Her eight legs almost rose her as she tightly hugged Ayaana, rubbing her cheek against his fur.
Normally, Kotomi enjoyed being the taller and stronger one to make Ayaana feel safe, as her arachnid torso and her full height made her well over two meters tall. It even allowed her to cradle Ayaana like a child. But she never missed out a chance for either Bloodwine, or for Ayaana to become even bigger than her. She loved to trade places every so often.
"Would you like to ride on me, Usa-chan?" Kotomi asked while lowering herself for her, "I can even make some patterns for you for tonight."
She was monstrous, which made her all the more protective. Her fingers were as sharp as razors, and she could see and listen to everything that touched any web she made. Just as well, by how she carried and nested Ayaana close to her breasts, that monstrousness made her all the more protective. Kotomi was a spider that held maternal instincts, and thus protected everyone with her own strength.

"I can help you both."
Tomoyo Sakagami. A woman who happened to be a werebear with the mass of a mountain, and the sweetness of a teddy bear. It took her only one hand to lift Kotomi and Ayaana. Which prompted the former to glance down with befuddlement, as none of her eight legs felt anymore ground.
Kotomi did, however, notice Tomoyo's wider figure. She, too, would turn into a werebear tonight. It was a good thing, since bears themselves barely had clothes fitting them, and Tomoyo would gain weight around winter, as all bears did.
She smiled down to Chibiusa, "hello."

[Rabbit Girl! Chibi-Usa said, and happily jumped on one of Were-Bear Tomoyo's arms.]
You're coming to the festival, too, right?
Of course I am!
[Tomoyo said, and then, she chuckles as Chibi-Usa grinned at her.]

[Tomoyo, Chibi-Usa, Kotomi and Ayaana had now arrived at that Festival's Food Stall Area.]
...Ohhh, ohhh, ohhh - I smell griddle-cakes!
[Chibi-Usa said with a grin, and hopped toward one of the stalls.]
- Sweet or savory? The fruit and cream ones are coming right up, and if you're having a hankering for savory, I can make you a griddlecake with sausages and mushrooms with our special sauce in just 5 minutes!
[The cook at the Food Stall said, waving his tentecles about.]
[Chibi-Usa grinned at that, and waved her hand.]
......I want both!
Both it is, Miss Chibi-Usa!
[The cook said, and made a smily-face with two of his tentacles.]
[Chibi-Usa paused, then, as she watched the rest of the cook's tentables quickly cook about 10 griddlecakes at once.]
.......Waiiit a minute. Do I know you?
[She said, peering at the large mass of working tentacles. One of the clumps was reading a comic book at the same time, she realized. ]
[The Tentacles paused all at once, then, for about 5 seconds.]
......I'm James, Miss.
[Chibi-Usa stared at the mass of tentacles for about 10 seconds, stumped.]
- Eeeeeee???????
[Aand that was when Spider-Woman ! Kotomi slowly looked down, and picked up the mass of tentacles, outright!]
[Chibi-Usa, Ayaana and Tomoyo sweatdropped a bit when they saw what was under the mass of tentacles. James still looked like a chihuahua under all the tentacles, sort of, but now, one hind leg was only a stump, and a tentacle was growing out of one eye socket.]
[Kotomi slowly looked at him, and licked his nose.]
.......You're not in pain, right, James-san?
[James sighed a bit, then, and licked her back.]
- I'm fine, I'm fine - Almost nothing hurts, now, and having lots of tentacles and eyes-stalks suits me, OK?
[And then, she sighed again.]
.......I'm glad I'm all covered with tentacles now, though, cause I don't have kids crying and running away from me anymore.
Which is a relief, honestly.
