25 [Open Post] Tis the Season...For Winter Holidays and Wedding Fairs!?

The Winter Holidays Season is coming, and City ***** is getting festive indeed!

The World Tree Mart, Market Square, and all the other shops in City ***** are also having Sales for all the Winter Holidays, including Christmas and New Years.

But wait - Something even odder then usual appears to be happening, as it quite often does in World Tree System and City *****.

There is a big holo banner waving on top the City *****'s City Hall, now -

Ladies, Gentlemen, and Everybody Else - Welcome To the Great Wedding Fair of City *****!

Yes, it's a Reality Wave, all right!

City ***** is now having a big Wedding Fair, with many, many religious organizations and wedding halls and hotels, etc, participating.

Reception rooms, wedding clothes, wedding banquets gardens, and more - There are so many things to see and try out! (Yes, people can taste some of the food and try on various kinds of wedding clothes, etc, too.)

[Characters who are affected by Wedding Fair Reality Wave will suddenly find themselves joining the Wedding Fair, either as part of the staff or a customer.]

[Whether the characters are affected or not are all up to their Muns. Characters will go back to normal in 3 days, or whenever the Muns want them to.]

[This is an Open Post, and the Muns can make up their own Winter Holiday or Wedding Fair themed events, and thread with each other, too.]

[The Shop of Wishes is open for the Winter Holidays.]

[Yuuko is sipping her tea, and watching Sumomo get ready for the end of the year cleaning.]

...I do wonder if the dust bunnies would be easier to deal with if I made them a house to live in or something...

[Sumomo mused - Aand that was when a dust bunny, animated by magic, started to hop across the room! Yuuko giggled some more, and reached for a cookie.]

The Great Marriage Fair

[Usagi and Mamoru had now ended up at the Marriage Fair - Though they weren't quite sure how, to be honest.]

[Usagi's eyes where shining as she caught sight of one of the Wedding Banquet Tasting Food Stands.]

...Oh, Mamo-chan - Look, look, that one looks delicious!

[Mamoru grinned at that.]

- Oh, yes it does, Usako, but on the other hand, they all look delicious, so...

[Rei, in the meanwhile, was busily looking through a whole section full of Shinto-style wedding clothes.]

...Usagi! Usagi, come here, OK?

[She said, and quickly draped a uchikake over Usagi's shoulders.]

- Ohhh, yes, this one's good - Much better then any of the rentals we have back at the Shrine...

...But what about this one?

[Usagi looked at Rei, who was now draping a different Shinto Style Wedding Kimono over Usagi's shoulders, and blinked.]

[She then slowly looked toward Mamoru, blushing.]

After the last reality wave, Kotomi dated Ayaana more, and rested her purple-haired head against his arm in affection, arms wrapped around his with a pensive expression.

As a superheroine, Kotomi was the stronger partner. She gained her Doctorates in Advanced Physics with full honors, learned and researched numerous enochian spells for any matter of situations, and was friends with the Sailor Senshi and the Spartans.

Kotomi tightened her hold over her boyfriend's arm, and leaned against him. But even she, or perhaps especially she, longed to be with a partner that made her feel safe. And after experiencing what she could have had, Kotomi was left wondering what would she want. If what she experienced, or... or something else.

She got what she wanted in this world. And as she walked in silence with Ayaana, she wondered if that alternate world was the next thing she wanted.

[Ayaana, in the meanwhile, was looking at the all the Wedding Fair shenanigans going on, sweatdropping.]

[He slowly touched the little box inside his pocket, wondering if the memories of buying the ring and and a matching chain even were real.]

[His people usually exchanged necklaces when they got engaged, while with Kotomi's people apparently exchanged rings, so he'd gotten a matching set that could be used as both, but now...]

[Arghhh! He hated Reality Waves sometimes!]

[And in the meanwhile...]

[Mamoru smiled at Usagi, his eyes looking oddly sad.]

[He had to say it now, because something deep inside him was telling him that if he, Chiba Mamoru, wanted to marry Tsukino Usagi, he had to say it now.]

[Galaxia had been dealt with back in their world, and was now supposed to be busy helping rebuild all the Star Systems she'd ruined while she'd been ruled by that big chunk of Chaos, but somehow, for some reason...]

[He still kept dreaming of a Earth filled with ruins, and a shiny Crystal City, and a wedding.]

[A wedding between Neo Queen Serenity and Neo King Endymion.]

[Which was not a wedding between Tsukino Usagi and Chiba Mamoru, somehow, even if the - more or less - same people with the same souls were involved.]

[But enough of that for now. Mamoru had something important to do now, and he didn't want to mess it up.]

[He quickly turned toward Usagi, and took the kimonos off her shoulder, handing them back to Rei.]

...Usako. We've known each other for a long time, and every time I tried to do this, something kept coming up -

[And then, he took a deep breath, and kneeled with one knee on the ground.]

- Tsukino Usagi. Will you marry me?

[Usagi looked at him, her eyes wide - And then blushed up to her ears.]

...Um. For...For real?

[Mamoru smiled at her, then.]

- Yes, Usako. For real.

[Usagi put a hand to her face, then. And then she smiled, her smile as bright as the full moon on a dark night.]

...I...Um...Yes!

Kotomi was mostly an innocent person. Experiencing and interpreting other people's actions as innocent ones or with reasons not outside of the ordinary. Even with what she felt for Ayaana, she brief pauses in which they had to be away for any reason were understood by Kotomi, and believed to be common.

But once she saw Usagi and Mamoru on a secluded spot, away from the rest of the peoples, through a garden of flowers and with lunar decorations, she stopped with Ayaana by her side. Kotomi tilted her head to listen...

... And when he knelt on the ground, and declared his love for Usagi, Kotomi beamed.

She pulled Ayaana beside him. And then, out of the blue, she wrapped her arms around Usagi in a sudden hug.

"Usagi-chan! Congratulations! You are getting married!" Kotomi nuzzled her cheek against Usagi's. "When will it be? I have seen a lot of people preparing, and..."

She glanced down with a smile, "and... maybe it is not as much of a reality wave, if the emotions had been there for longer?"

[Usagi sweatdropped, but then, she hugged Kotomi back!]

...Thank you! But um, I'm not sure about when, I'm afraid...

[Aand that was when Rei started to tap at her Phone!]

...Hmm, the earliest opening for weddings at my Shrine is...

[Rei nodded, then.]

Usagi, Mamoru-san! What do you think of getting married at 19:00 at night, at the Hikawa Shrine?

[Usagi looked at Mamoru, sweatdropping.]

...Do they even do Shinto weddings at night?

[Rei, in the meanwhile, was nodded.]

- Oh, good, it'll be a full moon and the weather is supposed to be good too.

Mako-chan, can you handle the food like we planned last time?

And Ami-chan, I there's something I want to ask you...

[Makoto nodded at that.]

- Yes, no problem, I can even reuse the same food since I just plunked everything in statis timefreeze boxes!

[Usagi looked at Mamoru then.]

...Um, you've been planning this for a while, haven't you?

[Mamoru grinned, and patted her head.]

- Well, yes, but things kept coming up, and...

[Aand that was when Rei waved her hand!]

- Done! The Chiba-Tsukino wedding is now scheduled to take place in three days, at night, under the full moon!

[Usagi and Mamoru almost went white, then.]

- 3 days!?!?

"Three days...?" Kotomi put a finger beneath her chin. "The average time between a marriage confession and a wedding is usually one year. Unless they are in Las Vegas."

Ayaana turned to Kotomi, "hmm? What is Las Vegas?"

Kotomi blushed, and tried waving it away!

"I can help just as well." Kotomi slug up her violin's bow, which she used to cast spells! "I can work on decorations if you want. It would be a matter of relocating materials to specific points. I just need the prior location of each of them, and the arrangement you will use."

"I am curious, though," Ayaana purred, "Kotomi used to say that people where she's from married Christian."

"I would love to have a Christian marriage for my own wedding in the future." Kotomi smiled, not noticing Ayaana's curious glance. She walked forward to her friends while she prepared a tiny spell circle with the enochian runes reading delicate, placement, serial relocation.

"But I will be happy to make your wedding a great one."

...Oh, good - Kotomi-chan, I would love somebody to help us out!

The wedding invitations are all done except for this part, you see...

Wedding Fees and Wedding Gifts- Our AIs are very good at giving advice about what is appropiate! popped up on top of the Phone.

{Usagi pouted a bit, then.]

...Rei - I don't think it's nice to tell people how much money to bring as a wedding gift - I mean, what if they can't afford it?

I don't want people to not come because they didn't have enough money, you know...

[Mamoru sighed, then, and patted Usagi's head.]

...I get it, Usagi, but we have so many friends from so many different cultures here!

Some cultures prefer wedding gifts of money, some prefer different kinds of wedding gifts, and sometimes it's a mixture of both.

[Usagi thought about that.]

- Yeah, OK, I wouldn't want any of our guests to be confused or embarrased or anything...

[And then, she sighed.]

...But really - I don't want my friends to groan when they look at their Phone's Points, either.

[Kotomi nodded at that, and tapped at her Phone.]

- Usagi-san, Mamoru-san, Rei-san, please look here - So it's going to be a casual wedding party with a buffet, correct?

So what about recommending something in the 5000 - 10000 Points range for students, and 10000 - 30000 Points range for older people? Babies and toddlers will not be charged.

Other wedding gifts shall be strictly optional.

[Ayaana nodded along, running calculations in his head. That was pretty affordable for a wedding - A holo movie date including lunch for two could easily cost more then 10000 if they ate at a good restaurant, after all.]

[Aand that was when she caught sight of a light pink wedding dress, cute and shiny, which looked like it might fit Madoka wonderfully!]

[Homura quickly turned away, and put a tissue to her nose.]

[Sayaka and Kyouko are enjoying the event too! And the church that the Sakura family run happens to be there now to for couples to check out and book for their ceremony. Kyouko chuckles as she watches her little sisters Momo and Yuma pass out brochures, people drawn to their adorableness]

[But then, she caught sight of a light purple wedding dress displayed next to it, and her eyes widened.]

- Homura-chan? What do you think of, um, trying on wedding dresses together?

[And then, she pointed at the light purple dress.]

- Never mind, Nagisa-chan, I'm sure we can try all kinds of dresses on first, to make sure that they fit.

[Kyoko and Sayaka grinned at that, then.]

- OK, then -

[Kyoko said, while Sayaka waved her hands.]

...We'll be there in about 5 minutes, Madoka, Homura!

[And then, she looked at her Phone and sweatdropped a little.]

- Oops. The teleportation nodes are crowded today, so maybe it'll be more like 15 minutes?

[An AU Kyubey was looking up at Madoka and her friends, with what seemed like a real grin on his face.]

[They have decided to have the wedding at night, under a beautiful full moon.]

[They are both wearing modern Shinto-style Wedding Kimonos, and they both look very good indeed.]

[All their friends, family and acquaintances they have a good relationship with have been invited via their World Tree Phones.]

Meridia and keigo’s wedding planning!

( meridia and keigo have returned to World Tree soon before and this time they are a few years older, now of marriagable age. Meridia has has the memories of up to her current age, and when she arrives in world tree she starts regaining some of the memories Of the times she was in world tree. Ah she couldn’t wait to see Marisa and Reimu again! And this time sheand keigo had some very exciting news!)
“ oh! A wedding fair! This is just perfect timing, eh Keigo!”

She does already have a dress planned that her mother, her adoptive mothershe considers to be her true mother , is making for her, but it’s still fun to dress up.
