17 [Open Post] Early Summer Fun / Going Exploring!

It's getting warmer in City *****, and the Merchant Areas are all having an Early Summer Sale...

And all kinds of Flower Festivals are going on as well!

The Rainy Season is also coming, and after that, the Summer is going to start in earnest.

Pools and Beachs, Amusement Parks, Mountains, Onsens and Spas - Everybody seems to be gearing up for some Summer Fun!

But wait, something strange seems to be happening, as it often happens in the World Tree System...

Some people are getting a strong urge to go exploring all kinds of places, and the World Tree System itself seems to be giving them a push, sometimes teleporting them off to times and places they never even were considering going to in the first place!

[Whether the characters are affected or not by the Reality Effects are all up to their Muns. If the World Tree System teleports them anyplace, they may end up anyplace within the World Tree System, or some other world entirely. If a Mun wants their characters to visit their homeworlds, or AUs of their homeworlds, that is fine. Entirely different worlds are OK as well.]

[All the Reality Effects will end in 3 days, or whenever the Muns want them to end, and everybody who was teleported away will be teleported back at that time.]

[This is an open post, and the Muns can make up events and thread with each other as long as it fits the themes.]

Rainy Season Hijinks

[Ami walked through the town with a big shopping bag filled with raw Ume plums, humming to herself, and holding her umbrella.]

[The plan for today was the go visit her AU father and AU younger self, and make all kinds of Ume dishes together.]

[Ami grinned to herself. It was so nice to have a father she actually could talk to and do stuff with, even if he wasn't precisely the same person as her real father, who still lived her homeworld as far as she knew. And her AU younger self was like the little sister she'd never even known she wanted.]

James' Big Adventure Tour

[James was puttering around in his flying van, making sure everything was ready. Food, clothes, other equipment - Everything seemed to be fine, but he wanted to make sure he had all the stuff they might need in case the Teleport Lines went done again and it was too dangerous to use the Teleporters in the his van. ]

[And then, he checked his plans again. Yes, things seemed to be shaping up, all right...]

"Where were you thinking of going, James?" Marie walked alongside John while hugging his arm, "maybe some of our friends could link with us and join us later."

For this occasion, both of them wore their full armors and their rifles on their backs, knowing what could possibly happen while exploring other worlds. John's usual green armor with the kanji for luck on his shoulder, and Marie's own painted with a pastel rose over her chestplate.

It was easier to notice on Marie by her gleeful movements than it was on John, but the of them quietly hoped for a fight.

"We keep some rations with us alongside some survival kits, just in case. I heard Kotomi would be following us, but the others might be late."

- Hiya, both of you!

[James said, grinning - And then, he snickered as he saw their uniforms and weaponary.]

...Did you have to, John, Miss Marie?

[Aand that was when Ami arrived, dressed in a hiking outfit!]

- Hi, everybody!

[And then, she sweatdropped as she saw John and Marie.]

...Um...James-kun? Our plans didn't included visiting a warzone, the last time I checked, right?

John only turned his head to Ami, looking at her silently for a moment... before turning to James.

"Things happen."

For her part, Marie leaned forward with a smile, "it's a Spartan thing. See how you girls get comfortable in senshi outfits... it's the same for us with armor. Or more like safety blankets."

She then turned to John, covering her mouth as she smiled wryly to Ami, "maybe we could convince him to wear something for the beach. I think your friends and the girls from Hikarizaka would like that, fufufufu~."

[James giggled, then.]

...Well, OK then - Phase One : We're first going to go to the Sunset Beach and wait for our friends there! OK, everybody?

[And then, he checked his Worldtree Phone.]

I've already lined us up in the queue to use one of the really powerful Teleport Gates, so now we have to wait - Hmm, about an hour, probably.

- That sounds really nice, James-kun!

[Ami said with a smile - And then, she took off the silver and blue rucksack she was wearing, and poked her hand inside it. James smiled a bit as he realized she was wearing a rucksack version of the bags which were much bigger on the inside then the outside.]

...OK, I think I'll wear this swimsuit today -

[She said with a grin, and took out a nice looking blue bikini set with a swimsuit dress to wear over it.]

- What about you, Marie-chan? I can lend you some of mine if you didn't being a swimsuit today, I think, but...

Marie pumped her fists up in cheer as she turned to Ami, holding up her swimsuit, "This red bikini will fit me perfectly!" She then leaned on Ami's ear to whisper, "got one for Joan?"

"I can hear you, Marie."

"I'm asking for the two of us!" Marie grinned innocently. Before John put a hand over her silver-blond head to gently lower her. Just for safety, she pulled up black-and-green shorts for John, which... had something particularly prepared, in particular for the technology Lina lent them long ago, which allowed them to change from clothes to armor and vice-versa in a single moment.

"I think we can go. Maybe we can play out there to pass the time!" She tugged John's hand to lead him into the van, "just as a warning, you girls should not hold back against the two of us should you challenge us to volleyball."

[James groaned at that.]

- Miss Marie - I am not a girl by any streach of the imagination, all right?

[Ami, in the meanwhile, just giggled - And then, she went into one of the other rooms to change.]

- See you later, James-kun!

[And then, James went into his own room inside the van, and got out his own swimsuit, which was just a pair of swimtrunks, and also got out a towel and some plastic mats.]

[And then, he went up to the cockpit and touched the controls. The van slowly floated into the air, and then it's Teleporters began to humm.]

- Darn, the Teleport Lines are crowded today. Everybody wants to go to the beach, I suppose -

[And then, he tapped at the controls, telling the van's Teleporters to just take the van close to the Sunset Beach area as possible, even if it couldn't get right to the beach.]

..OK, let's see if this works...

[Aand then, the van hummed, and teleported with a jarring noise and a lurch! James looked around the room, and then quickly tapped the controls again, making several holo panels come up. He had to make sure nobody outside was hurt! Well, he didn't think anybody would be, the Teleportation Systems in Worldtree were pretty good at avoiding that kind of thing, but still.]

[And then, he sighed with relief. They'd arrived safely, it seems, despite the choppy teleporation.]

- Sorry for the choppy teleportation, everybody - And yes, we are now at the Sunset Beach!

[He said with a grin.]

[Aand in the van noticed that a rather cute female Red Panda Person who'd been sunning on the beach right nearby had just gotten drenched with cold seawater, due to James' van suddenly teleporting right on top of the sea in front of her...]

It was supposed to be a vacation day.

Retsuko had plotted to take it despite her boss calling her out on it and calling her lazy, but she was vacationing on the beach and no one could stop her. Or at least that was the plan.

From thin air, a flying van appeared out of nowhere and burrowed her in sand just as she had been relaxing.

The patience of a japanese salaryman has a legendary status in the multiverse. Heroes could be hailed as going into unknown lands and returning with new experiences, but the salaryman ventures against the monotony of the workplace every single day, and do not break.

But they have their limits. This is the moment where a sick guitar solo would be blasting in the background. And the japanese kanji 'RAGE' would form on her forehead.

In the middle of selecting their swimsuits, Marie and John bolted their heads up.

John covered James as Marie ducked. Then it happened.

Retsuko combed herself and returned to normal, and turned her head to the van she just overturned with her voice alone.

"Aah... are you all alright...!?"

Summer Camp

[Madoka was quickly checking through her bag, grinning.]

...Yes, I have a swimsuit, a portable tent, food, camping gear, a portable karaoke system -

[Yes, she's using one of those bags which are much bigger on the inside then the outside, ha ha ha...]

[Aand that was when Homura came zooming down from the sky, riding her flying bike!]

- Are you ready, Madoka?

[And then, she snickered, and patted the seat behind her on the flying bike.]

....The weather is perfect up here - Just the thing for a nice ride in the skies, don't you think?

[she boarded the seat in the back and wrapped her arms around her girlfriend's waist] "Let's go! Mama and Papa would see us off, but they had things to take care of with Mama's company picnic." [Madoka knew her parents trusted her and homura enough to not need watching over as they departed for a trave;]

[Kyoko said, as Sayaka, who was holding on to her in the back seat of the bike, groaned.]

- Kyokoo! We nearly hit a flying van right now!

...Yeah, yeah, but we didn't actually hit it, right?

[Mami was driving the second flying bike, with Nagisa sitting behind her. The AU Kyubey they hung out with sometimes was perched ontop of Mami's rucksack as he looked around them.]

- Hello, everybody!

[Mami said with a smile.]

"Hi Mami! Hi Nagisa! Hi Kyukyu!" [Madoka waved happily,glad to see her friends]

We'll never get to the Rainbow Forest Lake at this rate, all right?

[Sayaka mock-pouted at that, but then grinned, and saluted.]

- As you wish, Mami Sempai!

[And so, they started flying their flying bikes through the air again. They flew over the town, and then over a big bamboo farm and flower gardens.]

...Ohhhh!

[Madoka gasped, as the Rainbow Forest Lake came into view. The entire forest and lake was sitting on top of a very small branch sticking out of the World Tree "twig" that was now growing right in the middle of City *****, and they both were very beautiful indeed.]

Summer at the Hakurei Shrine!

[It's now summer time at the hakurei shrine! Reimu the shrine maiden is practicing for a ritual since there may be a summer festival on the shrine grounds soon. Good for business, but there better not be any youkai involved shenanigans that she would have to clean up, such a bother.]

[Reimu's best friend Marisa is relaxing on the shrine porch, flipping through some spell books. her thick mane of wavy blond curls is trimmed down to just below shoulder length for a summer cut, and she's wearing a lighter cotton summer version of her classic witch ensemble.

Will there be any visitors or suprises this casual summer day?

[Aand that was when a tiny person ran up to them!]

...Hello, Ma'ams - Is this the Hakurei Shrine?

[Yuuko scooped him up in her hands with a grin.]

- Indeed it is! What brings you here, little person?

[The little man looked around them.]

...Well, you see - According to our family legends, there used to be a Shrine for people our size, someplace nearby the Hakurei Shrine's grounds.

- It's been a long time since any of us have paid our respects there, though, and we're not sure if it even exists any more!

[And then, he waved to Reimu and Marisa.]

...Oh, you must be the Shrine Maiden and Lady Witch we'd heard so much about!

I'll appreciate it a lot if you could help us out...

An Inchling?” ( she poked the tiny person with her Gohei staff curiously) “you know, I sometimes have one of your kind living at my shrine sometimes. Her name is Shinmyoumaru. Apparently shes the descendant of the legendary Inchling hero Issun Boshi, or something.”

...Whaa - You mean Sukuna Shinmyomaru-sama is actually here!?!?

[He then looked at patted himself down.]

- But - But - She's a living legend! And I didn't bring any of my good clothes with me at all and I'm all sweaty and dusty and...

[Yuuko snickered, then, and softly poked at the little rucksack on his back.]

...I think those hiking clothes of yours are fine, little person! But hmmm...Please wake a sec?

[And then, she took out a small magic spraycan, and showed it to him.]

- You're not allergic or anything like that to this, right?

[Well, he wasn't, as far as she could tell, but she didn't want to use it without his permission anyway.]

[The little person pushed up his glasses with his hands, and looked at the writing on the can.]

...Um, I don't think so, but...You don't have to do this, Ma'am...

- No, no, it's not a problem!

[Yuuko said with a laugh - And then, she sprayed him. The magic swirled around the little person, cleaning up his clothes and making him fresh and clean!]

...There. That's better, right?

[The little person almost blushed up to his hairline, then!]

...S - Shinmyomaru-sama? For real? Oh, wow!
