The 11th Post! [Open Post] Exploring The World Tree System - Early Summer Fun!

It's raining in City ***** now, for the Rainy Season has come, but summer is just around the corner...

The World Tree Mart is having a Rainy Season Sale, with both fresh Ume fruits and Ume products on sale, alongside many other things that would be useful in the rainy season.

And now, several groups of people appear to be setting out to explore this new place they find themselves living in - The World Tree System!

[The Muns can make up any part of the World Tree System they feel like, as long as it doesn't affect the entire World Tree System setting itself or something like that.]

[Since this is also an Early Summer Post, they can go to beaches or pools or mountains, or just have fun at an amusement park, etc. Making up other kinds of places are also OK, of course.]

[This is an open post, and the Muns can make up events and thread with each other as long as it fits the theme.]

Ami - Going to visit her AU father

[Ami is humming to herself as she sets off to see her AU father again, some jars filled with Umes (sour plums) pickled in miso in her hands.]

Almost as second nature, Kotomi walks beside her, smiling as she holds a wooden box of bentos, more for anyone in particular than to anybody in specific. In this case, as Kotomi finds Ami, coming to remember blissful, innocent days when she first realized Ami was an amazing person, her friend.

"Hello, Ami-chan," she smiles to her. In that same path they once walked, the curves and lines of Kotomi's age marked her as a grown adult, rather than the late teen she first walked as beside Ami, on this very road.

[Ami said, and then, she gave Kotomi a small hug, grinning.]

Yuuko - Going Exploring

[Yuuko is now dressed in what looks like an elegant pants with a nice looking shirt and a jacket, which is her version of hiking clothes, ha ha ha.]

[She is also waiting for her friends to show up, so they can go exploring together.]

...Hmmm...So there's a whole ring of Teleport Stations around the World Tree in the middle of City **** now, eh?

That'll be useful if we decide to try to teleport to someplace far off, or someplace really popular, I suppose.

[And then, she took out her World Tree Phone, and tapped at the teleportation function, as she wanted to see how crowded the local teleporation channels were for the moment. Being stuck in a teleportation queue usually wasn't much fun, after all.]

[OOC : Additional setting - A ring of Teleport Stations around the World Tree "twig" in the middle of City *****. Teleport Stations are useful if anybody wants to teleport to someplace really far away, or someplace where lots of people are teleporting to at once, crowding up the World Tree Phone networks teleportation channels.]

- Here I am, and so is Sumomo!

[Yuuko said with a smile, while Sumomo waved at her.]

...Hey, the last time we tried to go someplace, you said you wanted to go to the mountains first, and then the beach, right?

[Sumomo said, and then, she made a holo pop on on top of her Phone.]

- I found someplace called the Tagalong Mountains - It's really pretty, and they have a hiking - well, flying - course that is popular with the people who can fly, too, according to their site.

So what do you think, Lady Luna?

Ever loyal to Yuuko, John walked beside her in full armor, the thing that he considered 'hiking clothes' that fit doubly as formal wear in many circumstances. The fact he still had his rifle on his back would have been excessive, but mountainous regions often bore trouble that he decided to be prepared for.

"The channels must be packed," his visor looked left and right at the teleportation channels, which were most likely being used by visitors exploring the new vistas of the city. By the tense hold of his hands, he was either paranoid or cautious, even while knowing that the average resident of Infinity had more than enough combat experience against the unexpected.

...Yes, they are, John - We're new, so lots of people want to visit us, and visa versa, I think.

[Yuuko said with a smile.]

So what do you think about walking to those bright new Teleport Stations, and trying them out, eh?

[Hmmm...Beachs, mountains, ruins to explore - But what was this?]

[Yuuko almost laughed aloud as a vision of some kind of fighting tournament popped up in her mind's eyes. That hadn't been part of their original plans, but it did look like fun, she thought...]

Hal - Planning To Go To The Beach

[Hal was now packing up his swimming gear, grinning to himself.]

...It'll be really nice to get to someplace sunny after all this rain, right, Mini-KITT?

[He then checked his Phone, and smiled a bit sadly when he saw a message from the really old-looking Snake who usually lived with him.]

- Well, at least David is having fun training all those AU versions of himself, I supppose...

[Hal said with a grin, and picked him up!]

So you're ready to come have fun at the beach with me, huh?

James - Going Exploring

[James was now sitting in his flying van / store vehicle, which also had pretty high level teleportation functions.]

...All functions green and clear!

[He said with a grin.]

- So where do you want to try going first, eh?

How about somewhere where I can take a nap?

[James said with a smile - And then, up into the air the van went!]

[And then, James took out his Phone, and started to look though things.]

...Hmmm. So there's an amusement park for cats and their people nearby, it seems...And it seems to have a good reputation, too!

[Heh, heh, heh. That did sound like fun, he thought.]

Wearing his full armor, John pointed at the unfamiliar vistas that now surrounded the city, mainly around the highest skyscrapers and the heights of the world tree.

"High spots look like good places to start."

He was more practical-minded in his exploration, knowing that there could be dangers in new locations. With high spots to look from, he felt he would be looking at more of the city. In spite of his relaxed nature for his controlled paranoia, there was an uncomfortable familiarity to this all. Being beside a tree so tall that it melded with the sky reminded him of Halo.

...Oh, yes.

[James grinned.]

You know - I really want to see what would happen if we go - Right up there!

[Aand he pointed up to where the "twig" of the World Tree was disappearing up into the clouds.]

[The van began to go up, and up, and up - Aand that was when their Phones beeped!]

Warning! You are reaching the outskirts of the World Tree System, City ***** Twig Area! We strongly suggest you return and use the local Teleport Stations if you wish to go to any other Twig Area in a vehicle, or in any other fashion. Going into the Gaps between Twig Areas are risky, and sometimes, unlucky beings can become lost in the Gaps Between!

[James blinked as a holo map popped up in front of them. The "City ***** Twig Area" was City ***** plus the surrounding areas, apparently.]

It could take days, months or even years for the World Tree System Teleportation Network to find beings who are lost in the Gaps Between, and sometimes, they never can be found at all! We strongly suggest you use the Teleportation Stations...

[Madoka checked things out, then, and they decided to use a nearby Teleport Station instead of just teleporting to the beach they were planning to go directly. They didn't want to get stuck someplace mid-teleport because too many people were trying to teleport to the same places at the same times, after all.]

[They stood in line at Station, and then, teleported, all in a group, to a very pretty looking beach!]

...Yaaay!

[Kyoko cheered - But then, she paused, as she checked out one of the signs at the beach.]

...Wait, this isn't the beach we were planning to go too, right? We were planning to go to the East Watago Beach, not the Watago Island Beach!

[Aand that is when the girl's Phones all beeped!]

The East Watago Beach is very crowded for the moment! If it is an emergency, we can still try to teleport you there, but if not, please enjoy the Watago Insland Beach instead, while we wait for the Teleport Channels to open up...

Well, it's not an emergency, I suppose...

[Sayaka said with a grin, while Mami nodded too.]

- And this place looks very nice, I think!

Tomoe Mami wanted something different for herself and Nagisa.

After.... after what had happened back with Walpurgisnatch, and somehow... being cured from it, she wanted to help Nagisa. More than anything, she wanted to help her forget.

She decided to give her a reminder of where they were. That this was a better world.

Sitting over a big towel, Tomoe Mami hugged Nagisa from behind as she simply watched the waves caress the beach, beside the sounds, conversations, and laughs of some of the peoples that had only now become used to this world.

Mami wore her swimsuit, a two-piece golden bikini that fit her bottom much better than her top, somehow keeping the curls over her hair.

Nagisa smile as she felt mami's sun warm skin upon her own, taling in her perfumed familiar scent with the added sweetness of sun block lotion. Nagisa herself was wearing a peach colored polka dotted childs one piece swinsuit adorned with extra ruffles, her long pale hair done up in twin tails. Having removed her matching sandals, her little toes dug into the fine, hot sand, enjoying the feel of the texture. It has been sp long since she had last been to the sea shore. Over a year ago, when her mother was still healthy.., Well, she was sure heaven had lovely beaches she could wnjoy...

Mami smiled, "I think we could do it right now if you wish," she pet Nagisa's hair, "it has been a long time since I could go to the beach..."

With how rare this opportunity used to be, she walked towards Nagisa, pulling her in a hug, "and... I think we could do it. I have an idea, actually..."

The same way as her curls, magic could be an asset for everyday life. Mami extended a hand, letting a stream of bonds materialize in front of them, snapping together as a long, inflatable raft.

The Hakurei Shrine's Natsu-Matsuri!

[Yuuko grinned as she saw the Hakurei Shrine coming up.]

[A large something covered with a tarp floated behind her, glowing softly with holy magic.]

...Reimu-san! Reimu-san! Somebody has sent the Hakurei Shrine a present, and I think you should come and see what it is, ho ho ho!

[Under the tarp is a small but very beautiful and well made Mikoshi, designed to be carried by about 4 to six people!]

[Reimu is slightly grumpy that day, it was supposed to be a summer festival and special occasion for the shrine, but by now she had come to expect little to no worshipers to show up, even since Gensokyou became part of this world. Just Marisa and Suika were there today.
But she cheered up a bit when she saw Yuuko, a possibible worshiper?
And she was abound with surprise and joy at the Mikoshi] "Is that, a real Mikoshi?!" she hugged it happily "A real Mikoshi! my mom used to tell me when she got to use it!
